Nothing special you could butt anything up against each side say 6x1 timber and 1 or 2 tapes and get same result-tolerances of say eg.2mm or 1/8 you could eyeball it .As for camber and caster these are factory set on most newer cars so toe is the only adjustment so maybe as discussed or go the string line both the same result .

Required for accurate camber adjustments.
Real nice piece with adjustments being easy. Heavy because of the aluminum and magnet base works well. Very accurate and durable. You need to make sure it's set up against a bubble level to dial it in for accuracy.
