Easy to install, great item. Would only ever buy Govee as high standard and great value.

You can’t go wrong with Govee bought 2 sets as the larger was sold out very easy to place around the border and path mine are set on gravel so I was able to bury the cables I have them set to 75% which is bright enough to light your path say, The app is very simple to follow and there are loads of colours to chose from I love the Xmas colours the main reason why I bought them Most important they cost very little to run we have 12 Govee lights dotted around the house and hasn’t made much difference to my bill at all.they may be a tad expensive but you get what you pay for Any problems with your lights email Govee and they get back to you the same day and are always helpful Great service

I've had this set for nearly 18 months now so can give an honest long-term review. The lights are easy to install into the ground using short but sturdy plastic spikes. There's a metre of cable between each light but the cable length from plug to first light is only 3 metres, which may restrict placement like it did for me. There are endless possibilities with the light colours, patterns and effects via the Govee app, although it's poorly designed so not the easiest to use, even for an IT pro like me! I linked my lights to the Google Home app so I could turn them on at sunset and off again later at night. This has been very problematic though, and the lights fail to turn on maybe one in three days. When they do fail, even trying to manually turn them on via Google Home can take several attempts, so there's clearly something odd going on. It's not wifi reception as the light's receiver is only 2m from the router. I reported the problem to Govee who kindly sent a new set FOC, which I installed in the front garden, but these exhibit exactly the same problem. Other Govee lights, and many other smart plugs and switches, have never failed to turn on once, so it's clearly a problem specifically with this product. I have heard rumours that the "receiver" unit on the cable isn't fully weatherproof, so maybe that's the cause, but I'm not convinced as the problem occurs at any time of year in any weather conditions.

I wanted these to run along the vertical surface of some garden sleepers, long down to act as path lights. i ad to 3d print some mounts that could be screwed to the sleepers and these then just clip in - the same mechanism as the included ground spikes, but without the spike. In use the lights look good even on quite low brightness, the app is easy to use and comprehensive and very easy to set up. I use the lights through home assistant so that i can trigger with a motion sensor. this is relatively easy to setup using GoveetoMQTT - there is the odd instance of them not reponsding to the switch on command - but that seems to be better after the latest firmware update (control over lan now seems to work better although not perfect - unlike other govee products i use) the patterns and colours are a bonus for holidays but the tuneable white and variable brightness are the everyday security/pathway type lighting in the garden uses. they have been in place for around 12 months now and theres no sign of water damage / ingress and they look as good as when i installed them.

We purchased 2 sets of these for Halloween and they looked amazing and the app gives so many options or you can customise with your own colours or download other creations from other owners. I’m about to set them up for Christmas but now thinking of having them out all year, with a white light for most the year. I contacted Govee for support with another product as was so impressed with how helpful they were and quickly they responded that I’m now hooked with the brand!

Setup: Ich möchte die Bodenstrahler um einen Großteil meines Rasens herum als indirekte Beleuchtung nutzen. Dafür habe ich (vorerst) drei Sets à 15m installiert. Die Spots sollen an den Rasenkantensteinen entlang verlegt werden, die Kabel werde ich noch unter die Randsteine verlegen um Beschädigungen durch Spatenstiche etc. zu vermeiden. Ersteindruck/Review: Die Spots machen einen wertigen Eindruck und beleuchten meinen Garten nun seit drei Abenden. Ob das Ganze nun für die Ewigkeit gebaut ist wird sich zeigen, die Kabel sind auf jeden Fall schonmal nicht von der Marke China-Klingeldraht und auch die Spots selbst wirken recht robust. Die Erdhaken lassen sich per einfachem Druck an die Spots befestigen und halten auch recht gut. Überrascht bin ich im positiven tatsächlich auch von der Helligkeit, das hätte ich so nicht erwartet. Auf maximaler Helligkeitsstufe kann man die kaum laufen lassen da man nur noch Sterne sieht nachdem man in einen Spot geschaut hat. Man darf sich das Ganze aber auch nicht unbedingt vorstellen wie einen Strahler der komplett im Boden eingelassen ist und nur nach oben hin Licht abgibt sondern eher wie einen leuchtenden Puck der auf der Erde aufliegt und rundum beleuchtet. Sicherlich kann man die Spots auch noch tiefer eingraben, ich persönlich hab es allerdings nicht vor. Geboten wird das gesamte Farbspektrum, wobei ich persönlich doch auf klassisch warmweiß gehe. Mein Sohn hingegen hat schon für sich selbst entdeckt wir toll es ist wenn man den gesamten Garten als Kinderdisco beleuchtet, meine Nachbarn halten mich sicherlich schon für völlig irre, das kann ich Ihnen auch nicht verübeln. Die App bietet extrem viele Möglichkeiten und man kann mit dieser tatsächlich jeden Spot einzeln (!) konfigurieren, also bspw. kann man auch nur einzelne Spots aktivieren oder heller leuchten lassen wenn man bestimmte Elemente im Garten besonders hervorheben will. Das ist schon wirklich nett und bietet viel Raum um den Garten nach den eigenen Wünschen durch die Lichtstimmung in Szene zu setzen. Ansonsten kann man auch verschiedene vorgefertigte Szenen aktivieren, vom einfachen "Lauflicht" bis hin zu besagter Kinderdisco mit Epilepsie-Gefahr. Mir sind fast alle Szenen ehrlicherweise zu wild und hektisch, ich habe aber ggf. auch noch nicht alle Möglichkeiten entdeckt. Die App von Hue wirkt auf mich dennoch übersichtlicher, diese nutze ich aber auch bereits seit Jahren und im Allgemeinen schalte ich meine Lampen ohnehin eher via Alexa. Das funktioniert im übrigen einwandfrei inkl. Ein- und Auschalten, Helligkeitseinstellung und Farbwahl. Gespeicherte Szenen müssten sich ebenfalls aktivieren lassen (Ohne Gewähr!) Fazit: Mein Ersteindruck ist durchweg positiv, falls sich dahingehend noch etwas mit der Zeit ändert aktualisiere ich die Rezension entsprechend. Aktuell würde ich aber eine uneingeschränkte Kaufempfehlung aussprechen. Ob man so etwas für seinen Garten benötigt muss jeder für sich selbst entscheiden, in meinen Augen liefert es aber einen großen Mehrwert wenn man den mühevoll gepflegten Garten nicht nur am Tag bewundern kann. ;)

Die Beleuchtung ist einfach zu installieren. Die Anbindung klappt in der App Instant. Topp! Viele verschiedene Steuerungsmöglichkeiten. Das Licht ist hell und die Farben schön satt. Edit: nach 2 Monaten war die erste Lampe defekt. Sie leuchtet nur noch in der Farbe grün. Nach 5 Monaten waren es schon 2 Lampen. Nach 7 Monaten schon 3. Jetzt nach 9 Monaten sind es 4. Und eine wird demnächst folgen. Ich vermute aber ein Montagsgerät, da ich 2 Sets im Betrieb habe und die andere funktioniert noch immer tadellos. Edit: Nach E-Mail Kontakt mit den Kundenservice von Govee , wurde mir ein Austausch zugesendet. Da ich insgesamt 9 verschiedene Goveesets in Einsatz habe, und alle anderen nach wie vor einwandfrei funktionieren, gehe ich von einem einmaligen Problem aus . Daher auch 5 Sterne mit Kaufempfehlung!!

Hält was es verspricht. Hab es seit zwei Jahren draußen im Einsatz und funktioniert ohne Probleme.

Super leicht zu bedienen + Einrichtung einfach. ABER : Ich habe vor ca 1,5 /2J mir schon die Groundlights 1 geholt und war begeistert, schade fand ich das ich sie nicht mehr kaufen konnte um unsere zu erweitern, ich baue gerade die GL 2 auf und mir ist schon bei der ersten kette aufgefallen das nur die Gesamtlänge vom Strefen/kette steht ? bei den Groundlights 2 steht nicht mal in dem user Manuel die Länge, GOVEE BITTE wie soll ich soetwas Planen wenn ich nicht weiß wie lang das Kabel vom Netzteil bis zur Box - Box bis Letzter LED ist ???????? Bitte spaart nicht so mit den Maßen auch wenn es vielen leuten egal ist bitte ich Euch von Bauteil zu Bauteil die Maße wie in jeder Vernünftigen Elektroinstallation mit anzugeben + Die Steuerbox hat neuerdings Kelbepads drunter und ein Reset in das Gehäuse eingelassen die IP Zertifizierung findet man nicht auf dem Gerät, ich bitte euch wenn ihr elektrooudoor Geräte Herstellt dann bitte entweder alles zb IP68 und dann auch Steuerung und Stecker wasserdicht oder Ihr gebt jedes Teil einzeln an wie es eigentlich üblich ist.
