The old Marshalltown filling blades are the best ones, These ones with the rubber handles, They are quite hard to come by now. My first one has lasted me 6 years and is still going strong but I've bought 2 more for future use. Decent

Excellent Quality

As you would expect with Marshalltown, it's a great quality knife. It works well as it is, but after the usual cheeky sand to take off the sharpness of the edges and corners to wear it in, it's so much better. Why they don't come like this I'll never understand. But anyway, it's a lovely weight, has a nice comfortable and grippy durasoft handle, metal cap on the end for whacking stuff, and a nice flexible blade. All in all it's a lovely knife that'll last a lifetime if looked after. I'd definitely buy again. The only thing that comes close for me are the OX ones, but I think Marshalltown just top it for me.

Does the job just it goes rusty, I was under the impression it was stainless steal. The product is good just wish it was stainless steal. I would recommend like if your not fused about it rusting eventually.

It's more convenient for me, but it has a downside: it rusts. If you're critical, you need to take that into account.
