Halo XL Full-Face Iron Set

In my case, the set didn't come with a 4i. So, I went online and ordered one as a separate club. It arrived as a 4 Hybrid where what I wanted was the iron-hybrid. Apparently, they are called the same thing and even the dealers goof it up. As for the clubs, I am impressed and excited to play them. Living in NE Ohio, it is likely to be a couple more months before the air is warm enough and the ground dry enough to get out there, but they feel and look great. Just swinging them in the house, I already like them better than the TM Stealth's I was hitting. They just look better and that gives the golfer a feeling of confidence at address. These clubs are discontinued by Cleveland Golf but the parent company (Dunlop Sports) will likely come out with something similar in their Srixon line. I'm told by one golf club retailer that the Cleveland HALO XL irons were within the top 5 in sales for them, so even though Cleveland is no longer making irons or woods (only putters and wedges) Dunlop won't walk away from that opportunity.

Why did you pick this product vs others?:I have been using 3 Cleveland RTX Full Face wedges that I like so I decided to go with the Cleveland HaloXL Full Face 6-GW set.Value for money:This model was introduced last year so the price is lower than other manufacturers newer models.Fit:At 74 my club head speed is diminished and these clubs are designed for players with slower swing speeds. I changed the grips and removed the 8 gram butt weights to reduce weight and to make sure those weights won’t make rattle sounds. I’m very satisfied with the swing feel.Quality:With the higher lofted clubs all you see at setup is the full face of the club while the lower lofted clubs have a hybrid/fairway metal appearance at setup. Younger online reviewers with much higher club head swing speeds seem to find this unattractive to which I disagree, the low lofted larger club head looks like it is made to hit the ball further and does for this player.

I love the concept of these clubs -- but I'm only 5'5" and planned to have them shortened. Unfortunately, I can't do that because of the so-called Action Mass counterbalance -- a lead weight inserted in the shafts near the top of the grip. If you shorten the clubs, you cut into the counter-balance weight, destroying the balance. These would be great for someone who can use stock lengths, but if you need to shorten your clubs, buy something else.

First I want to say Golf is not an easy game ! It takes focus, coordination, confidence and concentration to play the game and enjoy yourself . So I’m not going to say these clubs will give you the ability to hit the ball further and straighter , that takes hours of practice, but these Cleveland irons definitely help ! I’m a Senior golfer, a 19 handicap and my distance has dropped off as I get older ! But these clubs gave me back about 10 yards and the bigger face really helps making good contact with the ball . I hit the ball straight and that’s due to hours of practice but I give these Cleveland’s a lot of credit for making it easier ! I love these clubs ! I love how they look and how they give me confidence hitting a great iron shot !

Love my new irons! Gained 10 - 15 yards per club! Also, improved launch and accuracy significantly. As expected these are great clubs for a high handicap Senior golfer! BTW, Senior flex and graphite shaft.

this set of iron clubs increase my consistency. I played it first time without practice. Love it!

These do feel good. Maybe it takes time but my loft or distance hasn't really increased at all.
