Neither pratctical neither theoretical. The examples given in hte book are very case specific/personal stories of the researchers contributing to the bokk. Did not meat my expectations.

Book was in great condition. If you're into anthropology or design, this book is an excellent read.

I would have given it 5 stars, because it's a fantastically creative approach to the methods of doing design anthropology- be inspired! But some of the writing is pretty inscrutable- especially chapter 2, which describes many basic concepts that first become clear after reading the later chapters. But if you want to look at some fantastically designed collaborative projects from bridges to teen art to high tech, read this book.
