Unclear instructions
I bought this item, followed the directions to a T. One day tilling and it locked up. $1800 Down the drain. The directions didn’t match the tiller I bought when installing the top part. I filled the fluids hoping it was right because the instructions weren’t clear enough and again weren’t for my exact tiller. I’m assuming the gear box is locked up. That’s what I get for buying the cheapest tiller I could find on Amazon.

Great tiller. Great quality. Not much assembly. Works great on my JD1023 subcompact tractor. Best of all it was delivered to my door. The FedEx guy unloaded it with his lift gate truck, and wheeled it into the garage. I put it together and picked it up from the pallet with the tractor. It doesn't get any easier than that. The drive shaft was the perfect length, too. No adjustment needed. The clutch adjustment is a bit confusing, but the instructions are straightforward. There are some great videos on YouTube for assembly and adjusting things.

It was shipped in a metal cage and using the tractor was easily unpacked. Fitting it to the tractor and making some adjustments were relatively painless. It is sturdy and does a good job in our small (50 X 100 yds) garden.

Wasn't too difficult to assemble. Attached to my John Deer 790 with no problems - the drive shaft was the right length. the only down side: the instructions leave a bit to be desired.
