I waited four months to write a review because I wasn't sure this would last. While the kid's interest in it has waned a little, this toy has been loved! Sometimes it starts to respond oddly to the remote, but every time it's solved by charging the battery.

Great, but charging situation annoying
My son really loves this and it’s really nice, but the battery and charging situation is really annoying. Wish it was an easy plug in, but you have to take the battery compartment off with a screwdriver, the connection to the permanent battery is hard to detach, and the charger is unique so if you lose it good luck.

Great fun for the kids!
We had so much fun with this little device. The kids loved it & it works so well. They use it to build & take down forts with their blocks & it pairs nicely with their tonka dump truck. We got it on a lightening sale so got a great deal! The only thing I would change about it is the battery, it would be nice if there was a way to charge it without taking the whole battery pack out. Other than that there really isn't much bad to say about it. The attachments are easy enough to change that my 8 yr old does it himself. Him & his 4yr old brother have had a great time playing with it! Hopefully it lasts so that their 10 month old brother can play with it too when he is old enough. All in all thoroughly pleased with our purchase.

Fun Garbage Truck Toy, but Battery Issue Makes It Hard to Recommend
My son really wanted a garbage truck toy, and this one definitely caught his attention. It looks great, and the functions are fun — it moves forward and backward with the remote control, and it makes sounds, which he enjoyed. In the beginning, he was excited to play with it, and it held his interest for a while. However, the reason I’m giving it only three stars is the battery issue. After just a couple of months, the battery stopped working completely. It wasn’t something we could fix, and once that happened, the remote-control feature no longer worked at all. At this point, the truck can only be pushed manually, which defeats the purpose of buying an RC toy. If I had to choose again, I personally wouldn’t purchase this toy because the remote control function didn’t last. That said, I can see how it might work well for others if they don’t run into the same battery problem. Overall: a fun toy with good features, but durability is a concern.

Very disappointed - Does not work
Gave this to my nephew for Christmas yesterday. Charged for 8hrs as advised. Have tried many different things, and though the remote is pairing, nothing happens to the truck when you push the buttons. Have emailed the manufacturer, but will likely have to return. Have a very disappointed nephew!
