For people that get a softer texture than expected, I asked the company about that and this was their reply: Our cocoa butter is 100% pure; however, its texture can vary depending on its natural crystal structure. Cocoa butter can exist in different forms (polymorphs), and if it melts during processing or transit and then cools without controlled tempering, it can set into a softer, more pliable consistency rather than a firm, brittle one. Additionally, factors like origin of the beans, processing method and micro temperature changes during shipping can all influence how firm or soft it feels at the same room temperature. Even at room temperature cocoa butter that has not been tempered into a stable crystal form may remain soft or slightly mushy. This difference in texture does not indicate dilution or impurity—it’s still 100% cocoa butter and will perform the same in your formulations. If you prefer a firmer texture, you can gently melt and allow it to cool in a controlled, cooler environment (or briefly refrigerate) to help it set more solidly.

smooth and not a over whelming smell of cocoa butter .

This smells really nice, and is good for skin. Whenever I use it, I get reminded of that song my brother had on his playlist when we were driving to a vacation house for a family vacation for thanksgiving where the singer sings "I miss my coco butter kisses" over and over. I feel as if something organic and natural like this is better for skin because it does not contain chemicals and allergens and irritants. This is, in my opinion, a safer alternative to lotion. It most likely helps people to look younger, heals stretch marks and heals scars.

good for eczema or dry skin. i have eczema around my lips and on my lips, i wet my face and rub this into my lips? it helps so much. it absorbs quickly and provides moisture. it seems pretty pure. the only issue is that it’s in a bag with no like seal opening and i have to dig my hands in the bad to get it, but this is a non issue since you can see that in the photo. it smells like nothing, or better yet, it just smells like raw lotion.

Seems a little soft but it was a good product. Easy to use. Used in skin care products. Definitely added moisture. Ingredients seemed accurate. Absorbed great on skin.

I’ve been using this on my tattoos during the healing process and also anywhere that’s dry. It’s fabulous. It smells faintly like chocolate and rubs in well without a greasy afterfeel. I’ve used other cocoa butter and it was like a rock but this is smooth and melts nicely in my hands. It would be nice to have a jar for it but I just cut a corner off the package and have been squeezing it out. I plan to keep using it!

Unsure if this is just poor quality cocoa butter or a mixture of butters and oils, but it definitely doesn't seem like 100% pure, quality cocoa butter. The smell is slightly different (although it still smells nice), and the texture, consistency, and color are off . . . It isn't hard/firm, then gradually softens as it warms. It also feels more oily compared to others I have purchased. It is just very different from the other similar cocoa butters I have purchased before. It didn't work right for what I NEEDED it for, but I was able to mix small amounts of it in with some other ingredients to make something else. So I was able to make use of it, I just wasn't able to make the products I had intended it for. I wouldn't buy again . . . unless I actually *needed* something with its consistency/etc.

Very disappointed Not a raw cocoa butter it's creamy and not hard no smell of cocoa butter.
