Laufey is Los Angeles-based singer, composer, producer and multi-instrumentalist whose jazz songs are about young love and self-discovery. Raised between Reykjavik and Washington, D.C. with annual visits to Beijing, the Icelandic-Chinese artist grew up playing cello as well as piano and became hooked on the jazz standards of Ella Fitzgerald after digging through her father's record collection. Typical of Me is Laufey's debut EP including her breakout single "Street by Street" - the 2023 pressing includes an updated cover & expanded insert. AMAZING ALBUM!
I love Laufey and im happy i got typical of me on vinyl and im also happy this actually arrived since ive been having troubles with my package's but overall. I am excited to spin this record and ut came in perfect condition!!

I've listened to this EP a billion times before on Spotify and in my car... idk why but it sounds so much better on this vinyl recording, almost as if the recordings on those platforms were different from this one. Otherwise, great EP! A late teenage Laufey finding her voice and it still has banger timeless tracks!
