My 9 year old son became obsessed with these after seeing reels on Facebook, thinking he was going to become rich with all the coins and treasure we would find like in the edited made up videos on FB :) but I researched the sifters and chose this one based on reviews and the width and depth of it. It arrived promptly, my 9 yr odl was able to put it together himself and when put together it seemed quite sturdy and put together well. We live one street over from the ocean so we have a lot of sand to try it out so off we went. It dragged through the sand well, filled quickly, didnt allow for a lot of sand and debris to fall through the holes quickly. We learned how to shake it right and keep shaking until all the sand was out and we had a blast looking for seaglass, shells, great rocks and treasure. We only found seaglass, a carabiner and some nails that day but it was quite fun.

Worked well but the holes were larger than I wanted and the screws rusted immediately and the rubber cap kept slipping off but for the price I was satisfied

The rake that was sent (see photo) was not the same as pictured. The actual handle head was not welded inside the rake as shown and there was no way to attached the handle. Very strange. All other items came as advertised, but overall this item is unusable as is. Disappointed as this seemed like a good product to use for shelling. Very sturdy, etc.

Got this as a Christmas gift for my girlfriend as she loves to hunt for sharks teeth, she says it works very well and absolutely loves it.
