Plastic Transparent Flashlights On A Rope (12) Assorted Colors

These are weak lights and cheaply made, but I give them five stars because they are PERFECT for little kids.Goodie bags, stocking stuffers...kids love them and they last longer than expected, but they're so inexpensive that if they break, you don't feel bad throwing them away.

These are good enough for one novelty use. Some will break; some will be hard to turn on or off. Some might have the string detach. Be aware: The bulbs are not covered with a protective flat surface. This might be a concern with use by some children. I also can't say how long some might last, as I gave them to 70 children to keep as presents after their concert, and no one has reported back either way.

I don't think I've ever left a negative review & wouldn't consider it now except that I hope someone will avoid the mistake I made and not order this product. Of the 12 flashlights I received and intended to use as party favors, maybe (??) three worked - and they didn't inspire confidence that they would work for long.They arrived without batteries (should've known) and the flimsy mechanism inside was my first indication that there is no battery in this world or any other that can make this piece of junk into a functioning flashlight. Since they arrived later than I'd anticipated, I was left with no party favor the night before the party and ended up doing a mad dash to my least favorite place (toy store - isn't that why we have amazon?) on the way to the party to fill out the goody bags. I paid exponentially more for little flashlights that work and considered them worth every penny (batteries were included). Yes, I still get worked up about these little debacles when I think about them. Thanks for letting me vent; hope you find something better.

When I bought these, I was afraid they would be "duds" that would not work once I put batteries in them. To my delight, all 12 of them worked well. The light is not that bright, of course, because the tiny light bulb limits this. But that did not seem to matter to the kids who received them...they were the most popular item in the prize bag.

These lights were a great deal. However, expect to get what you pay for! The flashlights are just as pictured and take one AA battery each (battery not included) They are very small and a little flimsy, but worked great for the 5 to 9 year olds at our Halloween party. The look and function of the flashlight is fine. The issue is in the small amount of light these give off. I needed them for an outdoor scavenger hunt. They barely give off enough light to be of any use. They illuminate only if you put them very close to what you are trying to see, and the light they give off is not bright. These are great for a novelty, and the kids loved having them. If you need them for a lot of light though you will be disappointed.

Not sure what other people are expecting. TWELVE flashlights for SEVEN dollars. They worked, they were brightly colored, and they were the perfect size for kiddie hands at my daughter's 4th birthday. Even after adding a single AA battery in each, I feel like I got what I paid for. Don't expect great things from something that costs 60 cents.

Really cheaply made - In China so what do you expect!! wouldn't waste my money again. Barely worked, but was good enough to toss into party bags.

I was looking for flashlights for the grandkids that I didn't care about. At this price these seemed perfect. They are even better, I have 3 grandkids running around with the flashlights around their necks all excited. My good lights are now back to being mine and I know where they are.

These worked surprisingly well for little plastic flashlights. The kids love them.
