I use this cable to download images from my new Nikon COOLPIX B500 to my Dell comuter runnung Windows XP as its professionally oriented operating system. I purchased the B500 as a replacement for my older and broken COOLPIX 8800 and re-use the NIKON VIEW software that came with the 8800 since current NIKON software is not XP-Friendly and will only run on the dumbed-down operating systems (Windows 7, 8, and and 10) For real programming. most embedded and real-time software designers opt for Unix, NT, or XP. At any rate, This cable works perfectly for camera/computer connection; is very well made and should last for years. Just as information, each of my 5 Windows computers run XP (plus a Hummingbird Unix emulator, Franklin Compilers, 8-GByte RAM, and 3-T-Byte Hard Disk. For recreation. I also have 5 Kindle Fires 1 IPAD. and 2 cell phones. Still remember that it's XP that pays all the bills. If you own a COOLPIX B500, purchase this cable. It's good and a real buy!

It took me a while to figure out how to find the camera on my computer. 1. I used Nikon Transfer 2 and was able to transfer everything. 2. Discovered that the camera does not show as a drive or folder in Windows, But In the browser, the 3rd object under This PC is my B500 Nikon

The plug size for the camera did not fit. We used all the specifications from the camera and verified with the manufacturer for the correct cable, and the one that was sent did not fit the camera.

This is exactly what I needed. I am a bit disappointed that 2 were sent to me. I only needed one. Perhaps I hit a button when I did not mean to. I am very pleased with the item, however.

worked very well, i got this cord confused with the micro hdmi cable for the nikon coolpix b500. i was kinda upset when i realised i bought the long one but hey, now i don't have to buy this cable if i end up needing it in the future. Thanks again!

I have a Nikon B500, but the photo shown on the website showed it plugged into the camera's mini USB port and it wouldn't fit. The photo was different than the one on my camera, but it did fit into the A/V port and allowed me to access the photos I needed, so there was no need to return the cable as it met my needs. Had I not experimented this option, I would have returned it for a refund.

I haven't been able to charge up my camera for several months and out of sight out of mind. But, when I searched through the "cord box" I wasn't able to locate the right one. This came quickly and worked perfectly. Now I'm back to snapping pics. Thank you!

Works perfect for my camera. You just download it to your laptop and your good to go. Fit is perfect.

Good product and works with camera

I bought this because it is the only Nikon photo transfer cable I found described as being 6 feet long. My camera is D7200 not the stated B100 so I was taking a chance. Turns out this cable is only 5 feet long, like several others available on Amazon. Also the ferrite is rather small. But it works with the D7200 so long as the camera battery is not too low. Docked one star because of short length and small ferrite.
