This windshield sun shade replaced my old pop-up style ones that were always a pain to fold and never blocked heat evenly. The umbrella design is a game changer. It opens cleanly, fits snug against the windshield, and stays in place with the Velcro tabs. After parking my car in direct sun for hours, I could immediately tell the difference when I got back inside. The interior was noticeably cooler, and the dashboard didn’t feel like it was baking. Purchased this after buying a "pop" sunshade, which was unweildly, and fell down after a short time. The umbrella design ensures that this one STAYS IN PLACE. Putting the shade up and taking the shade is simple, and efficient, and storage is a breeze with the compact umbrella style. Best of all, it's keeping the car cooler and protecting my dashboard. Spend the extra money and get this. You're not saving anything if you have to play games to setup or close the less expensive alternatives. This is the one.

Giving it a 4 because I just got it and I want to see how long it last before I give it a 5 . But so far I love how strong the handle feels and the Velcro doesn’t feel cheap it’s sturdy And it came in a nice bag to store away. I LOVE that the corners are springs and bend accordingly to your windshield and they’re not going to pop out . I’ve bought so many cheap ones and definitely worth spending a little more for better quality .

Bought this sunshade for my Mustang and ended up liking it more than I expected. The quality feels solid and it actually helps keep the car much cooler when parked in the sun. I liked it so much that I ended up ordering another one. Now the new one stays in my Mustang and I gave the first one to my wife for her car. They suggested the correct size for my truck and it fits great now. Opens like an umbrella and takes only a few seconds to put up. Definitely makes a difference on hot days.

Nice shade for the car. I didn’t particularly like the tan color on the outside but it grew on me. It’s pretty easy to open and close just like an umbrella. It’s light and easy to fold. I haven’t had any problems with it. So far, so good. And it keeps the heat and nosey people away. 😉

It’s not a bad product, I just expected something a bit more sturdy I guess rather than how flimsy this thing is. At first I was worried because I thought the flexible part was a spring, but it’s not. It’s like a flexible hose that holds its shape, not a spring. I’m not a huge fan of that system, but it is better than a spring. I’m not sure why an adjustable one that tightens down can’t be the solution rather than a flexible rod that risks damage to the vehicle. I like the umbrella like opening, but the shade itself is so thin that it’s difficult for it to hold itself up. Light doesn’t really come through the material, but even though this is the correct size for my windshield, it still has areas where the light comes through like around the rearview mirror. If you want it to be all the way flat you’ll have to stick your hand all the way to the backside of your dashboard in order to flatten it down. It does appear to have kept the car a little bit cooler, and it does protect from the light damaging the dashboard overtime, but there are obviously some areas that can still be improved. I would like to see a stand system that uses a stand that adjusts and tightens while still keeping the telescoping umbrella like feature. I also think that some kind of underwire system could be used around the edges of the shade itself that would provide some kind of support system to the areas of the fabric that are not supported. This would prevent those sections from folding up or falling. Last, I would like to see more Velcro around the opening for the rearview mirror. This would prevent any gaps in that area from letting light through.

Bought this not knowing what to expect and it is wonderful. I live in Florida and drive a black car! This truly helps to keep the car cooler and it is size and weight make it easy to put up and take down folding into the size of a compact umbrella. There are other lesser expensive ones out there but this is well made and I feel it is worth the price.

I purchased this in late 2024 and have been using it daily since. It fits my windshield well and does a good job blocking direct sunlight. When I first bought it, I had two main concerns: the umbrella-style design and the adjustable spring handle. I wasn’t sure how well those would hold up over time, but after about 16 months of regular use, neither has failed or shown any issues. One thing worth mentioning is heat. While this does block sunlight and helps reduce interior temperature somewhat, your car will still get hot, especially in places down south. That heat can soften interior materials like the dashboard, door panels, and floor mats. If you collapse the shade and let it come into contact with those surfaces, it can pick up rubber or plastic residue. That’s what happened in my case (see photo). It appears to be transfer staining from interior components, not a defect in the product itself. In hindsight, this could likely be avoided by using the included storage bag. I didn’t use it and usually just folded the shade and set it on the floor or seat, which is probably what led to the staining. Pros: Good fit and coverage Blocks direct sunlight effectively Holds up well with daily use Durable umbrella mechanism and handle Cons: Can pick up cosmetic staining if stored against hot interior surfaces Bottom line: This has held up well and does what it’s supposed to do. Just use the storage bag and be mindful of where you place it after use. I would recommend it and would purchase again.

Easy to use, it's compact and good quality. A little tricky getting all of the umbella to fold away neatly after use, takes a bit of time.
