Viper 3400V 3-Channel 1-Way Car Alarm Vehicle Security Keyless Entry System

Viper3400v 3 channel 1way car alarm works great in all my cars. Instructions are very clear and easy to understand some wires don't do exactly what you would expect but from viper it's still great quality.

I love it. It wasn’t too hard to instal, only thing that gave me trouble was my vehicle wiring harness, other than that it’s amazing. The LED is bright. The siren is loud. Over 20ft & still lock, unlocks & sounds when hitting panic. It’s very well worth it.

I bought 2 of these. One for myself and one for my brother. After a littler research, I was able to do both of them myself. I only have a basic understanding of 12v, so if I can do it anyone can. As long as you do your research first, its fairly easy, and will save you hundreds in install fees. Alarms work great, had mine for 6 months now and it has never false alarmed.

Directions suck , nowhere does it tell you in directions how to get negative out put for the lights, after hours of trying to figure it out we removed the cover and there is a jump on the board that switches it to negative. The should offer to outputs for the lights positive and negative. As a consumer we should not have to open things up to see how they work, poor design, I just hope that after all this that it gives years of good service. Because installing it sucked.

BUYER BEWARE I purchased this alarm a while ago and when I took it to my Alarm installer He said it was missing the (Onboard Dual Stage Zone 2 Impact Sensor). I contacted this Supplier and let them no about the situation. They never even got back to me. This just proves to me that all they care about is making a Dollar and not worried about their customers. Like the old saying goes when you do a good job, they will tell 20 people, but if you do a lousy job like this supplier, people will tell 500 people. So my suggestion is Stay Away From This Supplier

Great alarm the only thing that bothers me is that you cant be no more than 20 foot away from the truck to work If I’m inside my house and try to activate the alarm it doesn’t work you practically have to be in front or in site

This seems like a good alarm so far but its only been installed for a week. As with other alarms sold on amazon or elsewhere, they do not include detailed instructions to install them. They recommend a professional installer which i was quoted $150-$200 to install it. This alarm does not include a remote starter so its not as complicated to install. I found some videos on YouTube and an installation manual which made the installation easier. If you are not accustomed to working on cars and electrical systems, hire an installer. I was fine doing this on my own and it was not as difficult as i thought. I returned a no name brand alarm and went with viper because I believe they have a better reputation. I do like that now my after market power door locks automatically lock and unlock with the ignition. I still have minor adjustments to make for the motion censor to be more active. Other than that it i working well.

The install instructions are the worst I’ve ever seen When contacted viper support They recommended a shop to install it. I figured it out. Works as it should, but next time I’ll look at other brands as vipers support sucks
