This was supposed to be for a bedroom. I put the frozen ice packs in and even added ice cubes, cold water, turned the fan on high and set to cool. I checked about an hour later, the room was actually hotter and it was blowing warm air.

This evaporative cooler works great here in hot, dry Arizona. It has saved my bacon on more than one occasion. Easy to set up, operate and maintain. Would buy again.

Without instructions on how to operate, the unit leaked water all over the carpet. The water level indicator is hard to read. Fan vents easily come out of position.

I bought this with the intention of using it when the weather got really hot so that I could save money on my AC. As it turns out, I never got to use it. I unpacked it, even filled up the little blue bottles, but decided to return it. My gut was telling me that it would not work the way I was expecting it to. For all I know my gut was wrong and it works fine, but I have no idea from any empirical use.

Does not even cool a small room. Super disappointed.

20 yrs as a medical device engineer...so I'm critical & picky, this product works great, is well made, runs quietly & I can really tell a lot of thought went into it's design & construction.... packaged extremely well too

Arrived just in time for the hot weather, unfortunately, it is defective. The fan motor doesn't work, it turns a little, then locks up. Doesn't feel good having wasted all the time to unbox it, freeze the pads, fill it with water, just for it not to work. Not I have to drain it and box it, in the heat...
