Perfect little kettle
Bought to replace old stainless kettle. Lightweight plastic kettle comes with 2 small cups and spoons which we found handy as no tea/coffee making facilities in our room. Perfect travel kettle.

Great travel kettle, very satisfied
Fantastic little kettle. I had an older Lakeland travel kettle but when I was going to Spain recently I checked it over and it had stopped working. After a quick check on Google, that particular kettle had been recalled due to safety concerns 3 years previously. Too late for me to return it so needed a new one. In Spanish hotels they don't usually provide any tea or coffee machines or equipment, it all has to be ordered via room service. Having learned from a previous trip, I wanted to go prepared and after a lot of research plumped for this kettle. It was from a well known make so I was satisfied it would work well. I tested it at home and was pleased with the speed it boiled water. Bonus cups and spoons inside but I use my own cups, spoons were useful though. For the price and warranty, this is a bargain. Initial impressions are good
Bought for use in my campervan, it's reasonably well made for a plastic kettle, no removable base and a short cable but has a level fill indicator on both sides. Maximum capacity of 0.85 litres which took about 6 minutes to boil on 240v mains, drawing 0.96 kW. Spout pours reasonably well but lid is a bit flimsy so make sure it is properly closed before pouring. Also tested on my Bluetti v100 elite with a mug full of water, approx 300 ml which took about 3 minutes to boil at 0.85 kW, using 5% of the 1024 Wh battery capacity. Some people have complained about the plasticy taste of the water, I haven't tried it yet so can't comment. I have knocked off a star for the slightly flimsy lid but overall it is a good bit of kit which uses very little power and will be ideal for off grid camping when used with the power bank. Would recommend

Perfect for the little task required
Just arrived today but what a great little kettle It’s fantastically light to carry up and downstairs or fill from your usual water bottle and doesn’t take up much room Perfect for intended purpose

Very handy size, wouldn't change it
Nice size kettle. Not heavy. Takes a bit longer to boil but not too long.

Perfect for travel to USA
Exactly what I needed for USA trip. Slow to boil in USA but that wasn’t an issue 15 mins for full kettle which was 2 large cups. Boiling in the UK was around average time. Saved us a fortune on cups of tea as no tea/coffee maker in room. Auto turn off when boiling and auto dual voltage. Use a plug adapter but voltage converter built in and automatic. Just plug in and switch on and off to go! Excellent value for money and very compact for packing.

Great Little Lightweight Kettle
Brought for an older person as she has problems with heavier items. Didn't realise it has no base so have to physically unplug it to fill it each time. Boils fairly quickly though and is nice and light and easy to handle

Ideal size and power for camping (but why only 4*?)
As the title suggests, i purchased this kettle for small convenience for camping. Although it comes with 2 cups and spoons they are small child size. If they had lids i would be using one for teabags/coffee and the other for sugar. However, you’re gonna get 2 normal sized mugs full of brew out of this kettle which is perfect for me. The only reason for the 4* and not the full 5* is that the base is attached to the kettle so it is one whole unit. Understandable in certain circumstances but the cable length from the socket is roughly 1 metre long. This coupled with what i intend to use it for makes it a tad inconvenient for positioning and then making a brew right next to the socket. However, it is a small niggle and i’ll get by. I trust the Russell Hobbs brand and the standard 2 year warranty (plus a 3rd year by registering the product) is handy for if i come across any defect down the line. Hopefully this makes for a more informed decision if you’re in the market for a kettle used for camping.
