I was reading comparisons of the Andis and Wahl foil shavers, both have their own issues, when I saw someone mention this one was on a whole different level above both of them. I've been using it to shave my head for about a month now and I have to agree. Previously, I used a Braun Series 7 and a Pitbull. The Braun got a close cut but it was slow. The Pitbull didn't cut close and it was awkward and bulky. This thing gets a close cut and does it fast. It's also compact and comfortable to hold. The UV disinfecting lid is an added bonus to keep it clean, though it would be nice if it had a self cleaning base like the Braun. Another bonus is that it can run on the AC cable without a charge or be charged with USB. So, even if the battery is completely drained, it can be plugged into the wall. It's convenient to charge with any USB type-c cable. This is a great option for anyone who regularly shaves their head but doesn't want to use a razor. The only drawback is the name, it's unfortunate such a great product has such a terrible name. It's difficult to even recommend to someone because I don't know how to pronounce it. Baby-bliss? Ba-bliss? More like Ba-d name.

Fantastic product my husband really love it

I bought this as my first electric razor as I took off to travel around the western US for a year with my wife. I charged it once before I left and over the course of a year, I only charged it a total of three times. But to be clear, I only shave once every three days which gives me a beard that is a maximum amount where I would use an electric razor. This unit is heavy in the hand, well made, looks good, has an easy on/off switch, stable sitting on the counter, and cleans easily. Equally important, it gives me a close shave that lasts me a full day and has a sharp cutter. I recommend this unit.

It worked really well when it worked. It completely died after two months of use which is outside of the return window (A bit short for electronics IMO). I've had better experiences with much cheaper shavers.

I’ve been a barber for 25 years and have used two other brands of shavers. I found the others to be loud and not very durable. A fellow barber in my shop had the other Babyliss shaver but ended up returning it because it didn’t cut as well. I’ve recommended these UV clippers to others with rave reviews. One feature I really like is that you can remove the cover, place the top back on, and it shines UV light directly onto the cutting blades. Just make sure to replace the foil cover before you start cutting—I almost made that mistake myself, haha! I would highly recommend these. The battery lasts a long time on a single charge, and they almost cut all the hair in one pass. They’re a little heavier than other shavers, but the way they perform makes the extra weight worth it. Even though they’re on the pricier side, think of it as an investment—it’s definitely worth it.

My 83 year old opinion. Best electric razor I’ve ever owned. I use to use a safety razor but as my Essential Tremor progressed I switched to electric. I remember my favorite was the 3 head Norelco. Actually did a great job. Then I tried Remington, did a good job also. Then I switched to Braun. Really a great razor. As time went by the plastics and lower quality became the norm. What a shame. My last razor I loved and still use is the Braun. I use it when I don’t shave every day. But upon going to the Bearded Beast in Mineral Wells Texas I was introduced to “Babyliss”. What a silly name. Sorry my bad. Josey May and Kim recommended the single blade Babyliss with replaceable batteries. Wow what a shave. They even used it After a straight edge razor shave. Then I bought this 2 blade with the UV option. Nothing else to say except that it is the smoothest closest shave I ever had. Thank You.

The Babybliss Pro UV Foil does NOT come with an AC charging cord. Only a USB and wall adapter plug. I called the Babybliss customer assistance number and the lady had no idea what AC cord would work if I ordered one from amazon. Two days ago I received another Pro UV Foil which was missing the USB adapter and within the first charge the blue light began a rapid flash which indicates the device was defective, so I ordered this new one from amazon and it is charging fine. As for the shaving, the shaver works great, especially on my neck under my chin. No complaints about the shaver but their customer service phone needs more product knowledge.

Bought this for my partner, who loves it. Excellent quality and gives the closest shave ever - so smooth! It also has an antibacterial light internally and it disinfects after you put the lid back on. Only thing is you can't let hair grow past a day or 2 max, otherwise it won't work. Hair has to be short stubble. If not, after 2 days, you will need to shave first and then use it. So as long as you are diligent in your routine, it will take maybe 5 minutes of your day. Definitely worth the investment.

Excelente producto, materiales de primera y el rasurado muy bien, corte al raz y sin jalones e irritación; es grande y un poco pesado para que lo tengan presente a la hora de la compra. Lo único es que no llego el cable usb qué viene indicado en la publicación. Iré probando el equipo y actualizare la reseña.

There was nothing saying it was used, the shaver had hair on it! It was filthy!
