Great for reassurance
I have anxiety and really struggled during pregnancy. These saved me from many hospital visits when I was worried I was leaking amniotic fluid, never had a false alarm and my waters broke naturally during labour so they were accurate for me.

Don’t waste your money
These do not work and gave me 2 false positives at 36 weeks. These don’t work on amniotic fluid these work on ph balance like a urine test strip so if your ph is high which it always is in pregnancy they will turn blue if discharge comes into contact

Great idea
This is one of those products I didn't know existed until I was browsing Amazon, and as my niece is expecting her first baby soon I thought this might be a good tool to have to reassure her that she either is or isn't leaking amniotic fluid. In the box you get two sealed pads that detect amniotic fluid and instructions. The idea is that if you suspect you may be leaking small amounts of amniotic fluid but aren't sure you pop a pad into your underwear and if it is amniotic fluid the pad will turn blue. They seem really simple to use, Obviously we haven't used them yet as the baby is not due until August but I think they are a reassuring tool to have, especially for a first time mother. I think it's good value how you get to in a pack, This gives you the chance to test it on different days. It also shows in the instructions that even a small amount of fluid will turn blue on the pad so that's what you want because any larger amounts of fluid usually leaves you in no doubt that your waters are breaking.

Peace of mind when you need it most
Have used these towards the end of all my pregnancies after miscarriages and complications they gave me peace of mind. Super easy to use so would recommend as gave me one less thing to be worrying about at a stressful but exciting time.

Not accurate
I purchased these for peace of mind and reassurance. However, after a short while of wearing the pad, it turned blue (signalling that my waters were leaking) and prompted a very anxious and stressful trip to the hospital, where they confirmed that my waters had in fact not broken. The pads are therefore not accurate and I wouldn’t recommend them. If you think your waters are leaking, just go straight to the hospital for confirmation and don’t waste your money or cause yourself any undue stress.
