Wow! I wish I’d taken pictures. I washed my whites with a new tan dress and they turned a neon yellow. I tried everything to get it out. Bleach. Oxi whitening. The yellow color didn’t budge. I was nervous about using this product because the clothes had other screen prints in other colors and I was worried it’d remove them. I used the stove top method. First it all turned bright pink (eek!!!) but after a few the yellow came out leaving the whites white and the other colors on the screen prints un-touched!! I’m so impressed and ecstatic that I didn’t have to throw away some of my favorite clothes!! Try it! It works.

I never write Amazon review but this product was AMAZING! I got the Rit dye remover because I accidentally stained some of my favorite white clothing items plus a few of my new white clothes pink. I’ve never had issues with color bleeding in the washing machine before so I thought I was done for when I saw all my whites were pink because it wasn’t looking pretty. But this stuff absolutely blew me away!!! It worked on every type of fabric I accidentally turned pink and made it perfectly white again!!! Maybe even whiter than it originally was haha! It worked on workout clothes (spandex), lace, and even my white bra! So ecstatic that it worked and so so happy I tried it out!! Highly recommend the stovetop instructions if you can! I’m not sure how effective using the washing machine instructions would be, but the stovetop ones got everything perfectly white in 10-15 minutes or less!!! Life-saver when it comes to accidentally dyed clothes and color bleeding! Thank you!!!

Didn't do anything to remove color. I haven't used this product in twenty years, but it didn't work at all! I followed the directions meticulously and I am so disappointed.

Saved my favorite sweater! I have a graphic print sweater that is white with black words. I love this thing. I washed it one time in too warm of water and the ink bled all over, turning my sweater into A tie dye looking mess. I was so upset! This dye remover did the trick! It was easy to use. I followed the directions and almost immediately, the ink-bleed vanished. The black print remained and it only lifted the transfer ink which was exactly what I hoped it would do. Also, the white was super white, so it looked crisp and clean. Great product!

It didn't bwork as great as I'd like, my Greg pants only change colour to brown and when I wahsed it, it reverted back again. FOr the whites though, a small difference was seen, onkynreason why thus wasn't one star.

I accidentally left a pen in my laundry and it splattered blue ink all over my camel colored polyester dress. This remover got rid of the giant ink stains and all the dyes (not synthetic) that I used to try to cover the stains! Steps: I put the dress in a plastic bag filled with color remover and kettle-boiled water. I put the bag in a 6-quart pot and filled the pot with more kettle-boiled water. Brewed for 15 minutes. I transferred the pot to the mud room to drain the pot water. I transferred the bag from the pot to the mud sink and dumped the water. Result: SPOTLESS. Camel color INTACT. I rinsed the dress with warm water and threw it by itself in the washer. The solution stunk up the whole house (wear a mask), but it was worth it! I wish I took before photos; the ink stains were huge across the front and back!

I had a super lovely piece of shapewear that I used as part of a halloween costume so I splattered it in fake blood. For months NOTHING would get the stains fully out but this completely got rid of the stain and didn’t harm the fabric at all. Amazing value, amazing impact. Only thing to be weary of is to open your windows, it’s quite smelly.

I inadvertently tossed burgundy napkins in the wash with my husband’s white boxers - oops! This color remover did the job of changing pink back to white. Good quality, easy to use and a great value for the money.

This stuff is amazing! I accidentally turned my whites pink in a washer mishap and this stuff whitened them to a blinding level of white! Chemicals are harsh, follow the instructions carefully. Great for restoring white items from second hand stores as well.

I used the stovetop method to remove the accidental dye from white clothing that went in with the wrong load. It’s back to white like new!

Great stuff. Have removed colours and patterns from many items and am always happy with the outcome. Has stripped blue patterns as well even though the rit blues cannot be removed with this, it seems.
