These thermal strengthening serum works well on african american hair that is wavy or curly. It is light and has a nice scent. I wish a larger bottle would be available, because I use this daily and it does not get sticky or difficult to comb through.

I love this stuff and most of the design essentials haircare line. I have been using the strengthening serum for years. It's lightweight and works well. I use it after I jump out the shower, apply my heat protectant spray, and.then use this serum before and after I apply heat to my hair. It leaves my hair feeling bouncy and smells great. I live in the middle of nowhere and they don't sell design essentials in any stores close by so I am really lucky to be able to buy it off amazon. Packed well and shipped quickly. Will continue to order from this seller.

Hair health: I use after shampooing and conditioning on wet hair. Let my hair air dry then style afterwards I’ve used this product for years on my dry hair. It helps w not drying further when using thermal rollers. It lasts a long time bc a little goes a long way. My hair dresser uses this on her clients and usually gifts me something such as this product great present ! Great product.

Love the product. Has been miraculous for my hair, which tends to get dry and break apart, and generally tough to comb without a lot of fussing. This product makes it easy. One product I apply each morning, that's it. No conditioners, no sprays, just this. My only issue is that Design Essentials changed the bottle they packaged it in a couple of years ago. It now takes four to five times as long to apply it to my hair because of the bottle it now comes in. Whereas before I could squeeze a good amount into my palm and spread, now I have to pump several times to get the same amount due to the tiny amount of product that dribbles from the spout with each pump. The odd thing is that I would run through the older bottles faster than the new ones, so Design Essentials is leaving money on the table with their new bottle design. Hopefully they realize this and revert back or change the dispensing mechanism to something less frustrating to deal with.

I was happy to find this product on Amazon. At one point it was sold at my hair salon. They discontinued selling hair products and I was unable to find it in stores in my area. This product works well and gives my hair the look and feel of a fresh style. I am very satisfied and will purchase again.

This product made my hair silky smooth. It smells great and lightweight. Would recommend.
