Nice for replace bulbs but one didn’t work.

I wanted a way to turn an overhead light fixture on/off from my bed. These lightbulbs make that a possibility. Easy to change out the old lightbulbs and set up the app.

I've purchased 12 of these E12 Smart Bulbs, Alexa Wi-Fi Candelabra Smart Light Bulbs 5W 2700K-6500K Color Changing, in hope to install them as early as possible with my new chandelier. Unfortunately, it took a while to replace the old chandelier and by the time that was done, the return window for these bulbs has closed. Why return? Because I spent three days (2-3 hours each day) trying unsuccessfully to connect these bulbs to Wi-Fi. I have tried all variations of troubleshooting as described in their Chinese App/Website (Made in China) and nothing works, they just keep flashing in their set up mode. Their app is not able to find my networks, be it a 2.4 GHZ or the 5 GHZ, it just won't discover any Wi-Fi networks, nor Bluetooth. Maybe is just my luck with a bad batch, but I would advise if bought, try them right away.

We bought these bulbs just shy of 2 years ago for a 5-light fixture. Only 2 still work. Paired okay, but one of them went out within about 2 months. That kind of thing happens and we had 6, so we weren't too concerned, we replaced it and went on with life. Over the next year, we kept losing connection with 2 of the bulbs and another was now dim all the time. One more died and we just ran with 4 for the last year. 2 of the last 4 bulbs dimmed over time and flickered occasionally but stayed connected. They have since died and we still have 2 functioning normally. We won't be purchasing this brand again, but gave it 3 stars because we did get some time out of them, even if it wasn't as long as we'd hoped for.

They're not super bright but I was able to pair them up with the Smart Life app and then group them so that they don't always need to be controlled individually for their color or brightness. One thing to note: I'm using Alexa as my main smart platform. As a group, I can control them in the Alexa app to turn on and off but I can not control anything beyond that in the Alexa app. For color and brightness I need to configure that in the Smart Life app.

Connecting and syncing to the app can be a bit of a pain…but not terrible. I wish there was a way to reorganize the bulbs in the app once connected and setup

The bulbs that work are great however two of the 6 arrived defective with slightly deformed bases. The ones that work work wonderfully and were easy to set up

use these outdoors for my garage door lights outside and they work perfectly! super convenient and easy to change for each season/holiday
