I love making oatmeal keifer shakes and maximizing both the health benefits and delicious taste. Maca does both! This shake is a cinnamon apple oatmeal shake, and the maca powder as a wonderful toasted nut flavor. This is a really good deal on really good organic maca powder. I keep some in a small container for daily use and then store the large container. I just discovered maca also comes in a black version, as well as a red. The black one is supposed to be four or more times as nutritious with a more pungent flavor, so I decided to do a taste test with the black version. It’s a tiny bit stronger in flavor, and a tiny bit darker in color, but I don’t think you’d notice it in a recipe. Both arrived in just 2 days, and both are outstanding!

Like that it's gelatinized. (Yes, it's vegan with no animal products involved in the gelatinization process.) The flavor is pleasantly mild and nutty. The price is good as well. When you have someone in the household that craves something like this it's best to just buy it. Which is a warning also. Once tried it might become a habit. Fortunately this bag of maca powder is big enough to last a while.
