Square Security Door Bar Adjustable British Made (Angle Brkt)

The product does the job it is for and fits securely against the door for added strength. The screws and wall plugs are inadequate and after initially using them and applying a small pressure to the fitting they came away. Fortunately fitting with much larger plugs and screws has led to a very secure fit.

Good strong and easily adjustable. Not sure why security screws are provided as these are internal and the burglar would already be in your house. Can be a bit of a faff dropping the bar into the brackets as there isn't much play and you have to keep it horizontal. Be aware that if you are fitting the brackets to a raised door frame or surround, there is a possibility that with the door forced slightly open, a burglar might be able to pop the bar out of the brackets with a thin tool.

This is a great product. My DIY skills are negligible, but I still found it easy to mark the places for the screws, drill the holes and screw the brackets onto the wall. I fitted it across my letterbox so the nobody could reach a hand through and dislodge the bar. It makes my UPVC door feel a whole lot more secure.

As this company seem to be the only people making this type of security bar there is not much out there to compare it with but it seems okay and gives a little extra security to doors. A little bit awkward to mount and it pays dividends to give a bit of forethought as to where and how are you going to attach it.

very pleased indeed with the product and the speedy delivery service. It is well made and seems strong strong. I didn't actually want it for its real purpose of a door security bar,. but have used it across the top of the basement steps to prevent anyone accidentally falling down the steps but I needed something that strong across the top of the steps but was quick to remove, (as this is), when access to the basement was needed. Very pleased as it came with two of each sort of the brackets supplied. Would recommend this.

Got these for front and back doors.easy to fit(but 100% use a spirit level to get the brackets bang on) and when fitted they are rock solid and give me peace of mind at bedtime as there have been a lot of break ins in my area recently in the early hours when i am asleep.. get them and sleep better.

Brilliant device

Brilliant bit of kit.... Makes my wife feel very secure whilst she is in on her own... Bolted securely to the wall with upgraded thicker and longer screws I bought separateley and does the job nicely. Easy to take on and off. Very much recommend.
