This product says that it doesn’t support audio transfer or Apple CarPlay, but I can assure you that it does. I have a Pioneer double din head unit in my car with a usb to lightning cord running from the back. I use it to connect my mobile phone for Apple CarPlay, and to play my music from my iphone. I just recently upgraded my iPhone from a XS Max to a 16 Pro Max, which now has a usb-c connection. This product converts the lightning connector to the usb-c connection and allows me to continue to transfer my music and display Apple CarPlay. Everything works as before. Great product.

I had initially reviewed this as slow charging, but that turned out to be not true. These work very well. They charge fast and also transmit information in my car for GPS.

I can’t speak for those who’ve had some bad experiences with these, but for me, so far so good. The tiny manual that comes in the zip like bag says CarPlay won’t work, but I tried it on my “Pioneer DMH-2660NEX“ head unit, and charging plus Apple CarPlay work just fine. Will be ordering more of these as back ups in case I’m somewhere, need a charging cable, and all someone has is a lightning to “USB-A, or lightning to USB-C” cable on them to use.

Works fine; I can’t tell but I don’t think it’s charging as fast as a straight USB-C cable. But it does allow me to still use some of my old Lightning to USB cables so it’s worth it to be able to use the old cables as spares instead of adding to the electronic trash piles!

I was skeptical about these but was pleasantly surprised. These work really well and a better option than replacing all of our lightning cables.

These are the nicest little USB-lightning female to USB-C male adapters I've seen. Having just switched from an older iPhone and iPad to 16s for both, they enable the smooth use of my good existing power cords, still giving me access to the lightning end if needed for older devices. The little adapters are equipped with tiny, very sturdy lanyards so the adapter is always available and easily switched out without worrying about losing the small adapter. It fits so smoothly and cleanly onto the lightning male plug that it feels integral to the original cord, making it 100% adaptable and giving full charging capability. Love the adapter so much and have already used up the original 4 so I've just ordered another 4-pack!

Note: I initially had given a negative review when I unsuccessfully tried out these connectors. The seller contacted me and offered to send me a replacement set of connectors if these were defective. That is why I tried them again, and to my surprise, everything now works as advertised. I would be happy to purchase from this seller again. I had several lightning connectors from an older iPad that I wanted to be able to use on my new USB-C iPad. The price was reasonable ($9.99 for 4 connectors), so I took a chance and included them in my Amazon order. I initially thought the connectors were not working because the iPad would not charge reliably, but I now think it was user error, because when I went back and tried the connectors again after a couple weeks of using the new iPad, everything worked as it was supposed to. I wonder now if the connector was just a very tight fit and I unknowingly hadn’t plugged it in all the way, so it was making and breaking the connection. Now that the iPad has been used for a bit of time, the connector fits better and charges the iPad reliably. It is a nice snug fit, and so far, stays cool while charging. Please note that as the “important notice” on the Amazon page says, these connectors are useful for charging and data transfer only, not flash drives, headphones, mouse, etc. I tried it out anyway with my equipment, and found that to be the case for my iExpand flash drive and a powered Apple USB-to-lightning connector. I would like to have been able to use those peripherals, but the seller was accurate about what would and would not work.

High-quality and great for use for Lighting chargers when you need USB-C. However, I marked this down 1 star because it does not convert Lighting headphones for use in the USB-C port. iOS does not recognize the headphones (Apple wired headphones) when trying to plug these in. Still, very good product and I love that the string can be attached to the Lighting cable so it's always there for use.

Quality item. Very happy with this purchase. Works really well when plugged into an existing lightning cable.

These adapters are great. I switched from iphone 12 pr max to iphone 15 pro max. The charging port was different from iph 12 to 15. I have 3 6 ft long cords already, so these adapters connect great to charge the new phone. Saved me from purchasing new charging cables. Very cost effective. Also, it was cheaper the buy the 4 pack, than it was to purchase a single adapter. Cost savings too ordering on prime/black Friday. Yay!!

Worth the purchase if you don’t want to buy all new cards going from lightning to C port. Only seems to work for charging. not for audio or data transfer.
