This stuff is AMAZING!! I moved house in July and have a huge garden. My poor dog was having a serious reaction to something in the garden and I couldn't figure out what. His entire chest and neck were red raw from scratching and rubbing up things. He had scratched open sores that were so angry and weeping. Vets were practically useless. Just said it was an allergy and to keep him out of the garden. This is not possible. He loves the garden and I had literally followed him around for hours trying to find what he was having a reaction to and never found out. Nothing was working and we were now in October. I tried piriton, Epsom salts, surgical suits, dog pj's to stop him from scratching. I found this product and ordered it in sheer desperation to try and soothe him. It arrived and I used a teaspoon amount on my dog. Rubbed it all in and it lathered okay. Let it sit for 10mins and rinsed off. His skin was looking a bit better but he was still scratching. Two days later gave him another bath and it lathered up so much better this time. He was visibly more soapy. Let it sit for 10mins again and rinsed. That was 4 days ago and his skin has practically cleared up. He isn't scratching anywhere near as bad as he was. No open sores etc. I will continue to use this product once a week for the rest of his life. A little goes a long way in a dog of his size. However, if I were to use this bottle on my collie, I would easily use half a bottle on him. So the bottle size isn't great. Overall, 100% reccomended. Very nice shampoo , my dog has a skin tags which is really uncomfortable for her but she feels a lot better after taking bath with this shampoo.

My vet recommended I use this as my dog has dermatitis, it's a good shampoo stopped the itching but needs weekly use maybe 1-2 washes weekly.

This shampoo was a life saver. I tried other anti-bacterial shampoos and prescriptions, including apoquel which gave him diarrhoea, from the vet but nothing worked. My old long haired Jack Russell developed such a bad skin condition which the vet put down to an unknown allergy. It was so upsetting to see the state of his skin all over his tummy and back and even in-between his claws and along his tail. It came on suddenly and spread like crazy. He needed antibiotics a couple of times but I kept on top of the treatments but nothing was working. I bought cotton onesies to prevent damage to his skin through scratching. I searched the net and found great reviews on Amazon for this shampoo for which I will be forever grateful. After just the first use I could see it was going to be be effective. It took a couple of weeks to resolve 80% of the problem which was amazing! It was quite emotional to see how much happier my dog was after this time as he had been extremely distressed. He had dark coloured scabs over 60% or more of his body which made him torturously itchy. Without this shampoo I don't know what would have happened. I can't recommend it highly enough. I shaved his long fur to allow his skin to breathe (as advised by the vet), applied the shampoo according to the instructions and made sure I dried him thoroughly paying particular attention to all his crevices, including his legs where they meet his tummy, in-between his claws and all the way along his tail (advised by the vet). Damp and warm is not good. Please read the instructions carefully as it states that the shampoo can damage the eyes, so pay great attention to this and stay away from his head when applying it. I made sure that he didn't shake during his bath until it was all rinsed off using the shower attachment hose and I wrapped the towel around him. I delayed using this shampoo due to the warning but I'm so glad that I eventually tried it as it saved him really. I was desperate and nothing else was working. He is totally free from the skin problem now and he is one happy old dog again. I only bath him about once a month to ensure the problem doesn't come back.

Great shampoo, my dog had a reaction to something and blisters broke out all down her back, when they had popped all her fur was missing and she had scabs on her skin. The first time I used this shampoo on her, her skin looked so much better ( white not red anymore) she did lose some more fur but her skin looked healthy. I used the shampoo every other day for a week then cut it down to twice a week, after the first week skin was back to normal and fur had started growing back. When applying I followed the instructions on the box and applied neat onto the back and left for 10 minutes the rinsed off, I also applied it like others have mentioned and put it in a jug with a little water then put on her back, for me the 1st option was better as my dog has very short hair and I found it just ran straight off her. Think I will continue using this shampoo for now on, just be careful not to get into eyes.

Recommended by the vet after the pup was very itchy but it made no difference.
