Clean and Healthy Ingredients
Mama Bird Prenatal Multi+ has been my daily non‑negotiable ever since our fertility and OB‑Gyn team okayed it for our IVF prep. One capsule with breakfast—alongside their Prenatal DHA—and I can check off methylfolate (no synthetic folic acid), a hefty 100 mg of choline, gentle iron, and a full B‑complex in forms my body actually absorbs. Even on injection evenings, they go down smoothly and haven’t stirred up any nausea or weird aftertaste. What really sells me is the ingredient roster: no artificial colors, fillers, or “natural flavor” surprises, plus it’s gluten‑ and soy‑free. My latest bloodwork finally showed healthy folate and B12 levels, and I’ve felt a steadier energy curve instead of the mid‑afternoon crash I got with my old prenatal. Gripes? Price first—about forty dollars for a month’s supply, and that’s before adding the DHA. It also comes in a fairly bulky plastic bottle; sturdy for travel, sure, but I’d love a glass option or refill pouch to cut waste (and maybe shave a few bucks). Lastly, because each bottle lasts only 30 days, remembering to reorder on time feels like another IVF chore. Overall, though, the clean formula and doctor approval make the splurge worthwhile. If you’re chasing peace of mind and top‑tier ingredients for a future little one, Mama Bird is an easy pick—just be ready to budget for it.

Had baby at 39, took before during and after and baby is super healthy and perfect.
Have been using these for the past 2 years. Took them before getting pregnant, took them while pregnant, and now taking them postpartum while breast feeding. I’m 40 years old so had my baby late but he turned out perfect. He is in the top 10 percentile of development in every area and super healthy and smart. No health issues and I seriously attribute it to best nest prenatal. I also took the dha and the mineral powders daily. This is an authorized selling tool, I verified it with best nest.

Great and highly recommended!
I am very happy with this prenatal. I love that it has methyl B vitamins and folate rather than folic acid since I probably have the MTHR gene and our bodies can’t properly process folic acid any way. I had a very good healthy diet while pregnant but I still took these to help balance it all out. After I had the baby I stopped taking them for about 4 months and started to feel really terrible and my severe chronic migraines came back. Big mistake! Once I started taking them again I started feeling a LOT better. I don’t think I’ll ever stop taking them now. And bonus which may not have anything to do with the vitamins, but my baby is very healthy, was born at the top of all percentiles and is advanced in his physical and cognitive development milestones. The cons are that they are expensive, and they smell pretty bad. I keep them in a 7day med dispenser and sometimes my husband and I will think a cat has peed in our room but when we sniff it out it’s always coming from the pills! This didn’t cause any problems for me when I was pregnant and had super sensitive nose or nausea though, surprisingly! And they don’t TASTE the way they smell. But then again, I’m swallowing them quickly so I’ve never had them in my mouth long enough to taste them! Highly recommend them with the One Fish, Two Fish DHA capsules (but definitely take THOSE with food or you’ll be burping up fishy taste blegh)

Top Rated by Nutritionist via in depth research
Great product! I researched many brands for my daughters before purchasing and I couldn't be happier with my decision. I had noticed a review where someone posted something about high lead in this product. Because I dig deep into everything and have a friend who is a registered dietician/nutritionist, I was able to validate that this product is not high in lead at all and learned that every batch made is tested for not only lead but also its contents per label claim. The company was nice enough to provide detailed testing and specifications for my friend to review. I learned that there are two standards for lead in products in the U.S., one is a national standard (all states) and the other is prop 65 in California only. The California standard (limit) for lead is extremely low in comparison and Best Nest vitamins come in even lower than that. For perspective and an example I was given, is that a glass of grape juice or a sweet potato or apple can contain more lead than allowed by prop 65 and is why foods are exempted from these standards (a side salad with veggies or a chocolate bar can easily fall way over the limits). There is lead in nature and food is grown in nature. She explained to me that the product is completely safe, meets the strictest standards and uses higher quality nutrients than most brands which she and I both loved and why I purchased! My daughters think the product is great (they also did their own research) and we are happy to have found a premium brand that our entire family can trust.

Thank God!
This is the 4th brand/type of prenatal vitamins that I have tried and I can FINALLY bear them. The first brand (Rainbow Light) is what i used in regular multi vitamins, but the prenatal ones had a bad after taste and I burped them up for about 30 minutes after GROSS! The second type were the gummies and they were just outright disgusting. They also didnt have any iron so i was iron deficient. The third type were samples from my OB and they gave me a horrible tummy ache. UGH. As you can see, it has been more than a task to find the right brand. These pills dont smell very pleasant but I just hold my nose and swallow. they are easy on the stomach and dont make me burp. easy to swallow as well. P.s. I will be honest and say that I have always been super sensitive to vitamins and the like, so depending on what you are looking for you could probably find more affordable vitamins because these are relatively pricey.

Works great but has an odor and subtle taste
I recently started taking this prenatal after my OBGYN recommended I switch from my previous one due to it being slighlty high on the Vitamin D3 side. For the record, I'd been taking a prenatal since before I was pregnant and once the preggo test turned positive and my doc saw my Vitamin D3 levels she preferred I lowered them a little. What I like about this Mama Bird prenatal (note: This is NOT the AM/PM) is that compared to my previous vitamin, this one only needs to be taken once a day. Also, I did LOTS of research to find a balanced prenatal that had iron, calcium, biotin, appropriate Vitamin D levels and other key ingredients and this one really seemed to have the best balance of ingredients I was looking for PLUS was natural. My main con, and the reason I deducted one star is because unlike my previous prenatal which I loved (Garden of Life Vitamin Raw Code), is because this vitamin does have a vitaminy smell and slight taste. The odor in the bottle is very evident and while the flavor of it is totally fine and very subtle it is there vs my Garden of Life which had barely any odor or taste whatsoever. Nonetheless, I will continue to use this prenatal given the natural, key ingredients. Granted, it doesn't have DHA but I am happy to take a separate supplement for that -- which I do...the One Fish Two Fish Prenatal DHA by this same Best Nest line.

Pregnancy after Gastric Bypass
I had Gastric Bypass surgery in November 2023 and found out I was pregnant in February 2025. These are the ONLY vitamins that have everything I need after bypass surgery AND as a prenatal. They also don't upset my stomach, even a little bit. HIGHLY RECOMMEND.

Easy pill to swallow
I’ve been taking this prenatal throughout my entire pregnancy and I have not once had an issue with the smell, taste or any additional side effects—and my baby boy is growing great (too great, he doesn't want to come out)! I highly recommend this product for any mama looking for a reliable and affordable prenatal!
