Received it today. Seems like a solid piece. Did not know about the accidental release lock. That is a good feature. Nice materials, Very sturdy. Is comortable to use and the camera hangs a lot better than with traditional strap. Used the Canon shoulder strap with it. Fits perfectly. Only thing that the plate is quite small so I cannot use it with my Manfrotto head on a tripod. I have to switch the plate on the camera.

Excellent. Does what's it's supposed to and works we'll. The mechanism is secure and satisfying. I also really liked the box it arrived it. Looked like a little ammo crate.
