I wanted to install my own dish for Sky Q for a couple of reasons. First this is a larger dish (Zone2) than Sky would install in my location but that provides a better signal headroom than their standard dish. Second I wanted it mounted on my existing TV aerial mounting tube. This is 2", I know Sky would not be interested in messing about and would stick it where ever was easiest. The dish is supplied with a short mounting tube around 1 1/2 ". To get the dish to mount on a 2" tube I cut a short length of the supplied pipe and used a pair of parallel brackets. Perfect picture even during bad weather.

As supplied this is a wall mount and not a pole mount. It has the new SKY Mk4 LNB fitting (not 40mm) so you either need a new Sky LNB; or a Mk4 to 40mm adapter (AP03477) and an ordinary LNB. Bearing in mind the above it is a good price for a reasonable quality dish.

Easy setup for dish. It comes with the screw bolts and plugs for fitting to the wall and you just need a 10mm spanner for the dish alignment coach bolts I used dishpointer for the correct dish settings. The SSL dish is marked "Sky 3" but it is a mark 4 as the Mk4 LNB bracket fits over the feed arm. I used a Labgear 4 output LNB, also from SSL which included the Mk4 bracket which fitted perfectly. The signal gave me 100% strength and 100% quality. on Astra 28.2. 2E & 2G Be aware if you return an item to SSL they deduct return postage from any refund. Good value for money

Excellent zone 2 freesat dish. Solid and well constructed, easy to assemble. Solid pole fixings and a few bits and pieces included eh f type connectors. Fast delivery and great price.

I used this to replace a very old satellite aerial. It worked well with a proper Freesat WLNB (the type with two cables) however the arm is not compatible with some older LNB mountings. It would be easy to install on it on its own wall mounting plate but I had a bit of a struggle to fix it to the old mounting - I wanted to avoid more holes in the brickwork.

Well packed and included all necessary hardware for wall mounting. Seems well finished but a few sharp edges which could affect the durability of the paint. Set up in a few minutes.
