This is a great long-wearing stain. I like to wear a lip balm during the day but also want color, and this solves my problem. I got "62 blushed mauve" and it lasts through breakfast, lunch and a work day. It goes on like a marker and I blend just a bit before it dries. This shade is a youthful, natural lip color and isn't severe looking. Once it dries in place, it does NOT make your lips dry. You actually forget it is there. I apply a gloss or balm throughout the day like I always do and it feels nice. The color might fade a little as the day goes on, but nothing spotty or crackle-y. Lips remain smooth looking. I'm reordering!

Beautiful lip stain - red with a touch of fuscia pink (at least that is the color I get: I have pale skin), and it's long-lasting. I love how easy it goes on, and how fast it dries, and once it's dry, it stays put and doesn't transfer to other stuff :)I highly recommend the reds! I tried a light pink and it was too light, but the lightweight, long-lasting results are the same.

I love this color. I bought admire. It lasts allday. But im mad because it came dried out. It didnt go on smoothly like the other color I bought. I purchased a different color and it worked fine. Its non sticky and you need to rub very hard to get it off. Just this color. Im going to see if I can exchange it. The color is very pretty though. A little dark, but more natural looking.

Love this lip stain. The color is beautiful and long lasting. It is matte so I end up putting something else on top of it for moisture once it dries to make my lips look plump and juicy. This picture is the lip stain with a simple chapstick on top of it. The color stays for hours, through eating and drinking. I am DEFINITELY buying more colors ASAP.

As soon as I received this, I had to try this stat!It did not disappoint! I will definitely buy this again. I’m shook by the price point and how well it applied to my lips. Went on smooth, not sticky, easy to apply, perfect size for the price, perfect matte finish and light weight! Perfect color for my complexion and hair color. I did add a clear gloss over it but could have went without.Being I applied it right away not sure how long it lasts but I’m assuming it will stay on.I have bought many high end lip liners and this is the best one by far. You will not be disappointed. Worth every penny!

It works well at first. a nice color, i got 65 natural blush, it tickles a bit upon application. It’s like a magic marker on your lips. It’s pretty opaque but a bit translucent still. It dries down and is not hydrating at all, but with a gloss over its nice.I’ve been using the product now for about 2 weeks and the fuzzy edge of the applicator has dried. Not amazing considering you buy something like this to act as lip liner.It also is not super long lasting. It’s not a stain. It’s more of an idea of a stain

I bought CoverGirl Outlast in Sugery Girl expecting a lip liner. What I got was a multitasking overachiever that apparently didn’t read the job description.It works beautifully as a lip liner, but it also doubles as a full lip stain that hangs around longer than some houseguests. I can fill in my entire lips, top it with lipstick or gloss, and not spend the day wondering where my color disappeared to.The shade is flattering and versatile, and the formula stays put without requiring a mid-day rescue mission. Coffee? Fine. Lunch? Fine. Random snacking? Also fine.At this point, Sugery Girl is doing the work of three products while taking up the space of one. If only the rest of my makeup bag had this kind of work ethic.

Review is for Color: 20 AdmireLip stains are my favorite lip product these days, but I am particular about them. I don’t like the types that use a wand and then we dip it into liquid. Since Covergirl Outlast Lipstain is like a marker, I was excited for it. I like using this as my lip liner since it goes well with PH lipsticks by Magic Kiss and MoodMatcher. I don’t see myself using the CG lipstain alone since it’s semi drying and can be patchy. I only have one color so I don’t know if every shade is patchy. To be clear, the lipstain doesn’t cause my lips to be dry. It’s just not moisturizing the lips. Depending on the baseline of your natural lips the experience will be different for everyone. I think CG lipstains are best used with a gloss, topper, or another lipstick to fill in my lips. I apply the lipstain on dry, clean lips. I allow it to fully dry before applying something over it.It's a matte finish. However, nothing is transferproof on my lips including this product since I snack/eat often throughout the day. Transfer is minimal and it doesn’t get messy compared to traditional lipstick. It’s probably long lasting and smudge-proof if you fast. Pigmentation was good. Better than r.e.m. beauty’s lip stain marker. It has a light fruity smell. Almost cotton candy at times. Non-offensive. Not overpowering. I did not notice any bitter taste in my mouth. Made in the USA with imported parts. I really have no complaints about this product besides the color is wrong for me.I chose Admire (20) because I thought it was a lightish pinky mauve. Instead, it’s a dark mauve color like 90’s grunge. A plum shade. Keep in mind I am light-skinned with yellow undertone. It would look different on a deeper skin tone. The swatches/doodling I did on my hand looks lighter than on my lips. It was quite difficult to capture the color accurately in my photos. Hopefully my review is still helpful. I want to order more colors so I’ll update my review in the future. Would I recommend this lippie? It’s definitely not for everyone. It really depends on what you want out of it or expect from it. I have buck teeth and traditional (waxy/creamy) lipsticks always get stuck on my teeth so I find lipstains/PH lipsticks work the best for my type of mouth. My options are kind of limited.

The COVERGIRL Outlast Lipstain delivers rich, vibrant colour that lasts way longer than most lip products I’ve tried. Once it sets, it doesn’t easily rub off — even after eating or drinking — so you don’t have to reapply constantly.It feels surprisingly comfortable for a stain — not too sticky or heavy. It’s not as dry as some other long-wear formulas, but I would still recommend putting a lipgloss over it.Overall, this lip stain gives excellent staying power and bold colour, with a comfortable feel and great value for the price.

Bought this for my purple and black witch costume and it was great. Definitely a lipstain feel, not a lipstick feel, which is exactly what I was looking for. It lasted through my daughter's halloween dance and didn't smudge. Would buy again.
