You can stop searching now, this is the best thermal paste for your PC
I was very skeptical at first of this new "PTM" stuff I kept hearing about, so I decided to pick this up to try it with my new PC that's having thermal issues (it's my first Mini ITX build). I removed all the paste from my CPU and placed the PTM on it, remembering to remove the film from both sides, and tightened the cooler down on it. I could tell the difference IMMEDIATELY. My computer booted and dropped me to my desktop without me even realizing it because the fans never kicked up like they nomrally do. I ran a CPU stress test on my Ryzen 9 7940HX and where I was normally bouncing off my processor's TjMax within 5 minutes, I was now about 10 degrees (centigrade) below it after 20 minutes! Amazed at the improvement, I removed my GPU and swapped the paste for the remainder of the PTM - Another brilliant decision, because now my GPU won't even cross the 70 degrees centigrade mark even under full load! In an ITX build! I'd give this 10 stars if I could. It doesn't make a mess, there's no need to spread it around, it performs on-par or better than liquid metal, and your thermals will actually IMPROVE over time. I see absolutely no reason this shouldn't be used in any device you can repaste. In fact, I actually bought more and now all of my computers run this. If you're struggling to decide what paste to get, you can stop now and purchase this knowing it's exactly what you're looking for.

I will be coming back for you when I need to repaste a GPU, you do work!
Now, I did repaste my GPU VRAM and VRM alongside using this as a thermal pad for my GPU's core. But either way, it does better than thermal paste which was incredibly sticky and a huge nasty mess. This should stay in place which is good because I brought this in concern of pump out. I'll never have to take apart my GPU again and the idles are 37-40C compared to the 50s before. Again, I don't know if the entire VRM and VRAM pasting did that, but W-o-w.

Perfect for GPU re-paste
Keeping my RTX 3070 SFF card cool for many months now. Proving its durability to me over regular paste

IT DID BROUGHT DOWN MY CPU TEMPS, BUT...
I started to have a CPU overheating issue with my 2022 Razer Blade 15 base model with an i7 10750H. It was constantly reaching 100c+ on nearly all cores at full load. I decided to repaste my CPU/GPU die, but first I did some research for the best possible solution that will help me lower my temperatures even by 5c degrees. Found out about PTM7950. But for some reason, Honeywell doesn't sell to consumers directly. So you have to go off with unknown brands. So I found this one here on Amazon and took a leap of faith and it didn't disappoint for the most part. Let's get the negative side out of the way. This is not quite easy to apply and takes patience. Make sure to freeze these until they are hard so that you can cut them accordingly at room temperature. Then freeze it again so that applying these on the CPU and GPU dies are much easier. But once you're able to install these properly, surprisingly, this thing functions very well. The thickness seems to be just right for my cooler and the adhesive quality (aka stickiness) is on par with most thermal paste. My CPU temps no longer reaches 100c+ on full loads consistently. But this thing is far from perfect. While I tend to only reach between 94c-96c on full load (usually gaming on AAA titles), my CPU idles a bit high to my liking ranging from 71c to 86c. It's not consistent on it's idle temps and fluctuates even when I'm not doing anything and just on the desktop screen with nothing open. While hitting 94c-96c while gaming is respectable on a gaming laptop. From time to time, it will climb to 100c on a couple of the cores out of 6. But it still beats having all cores consistently hitting those numbers previously. Also, you never have to worry about reapplying more overtime like thermal paste do when they degrade. Since I never have to repaste my CPU/GPU again, I don't need to worry about whether or not this thing is easy to clean or not. Overall, if you're looking for a thermal paste alternative for your CPU/GPU, this is definitely recommended. Again, the only reason I gave it a 4 star is because my idle temps are inconsistent and I still reach the 90s while gaming. But it did it's job well enough and solved my issue of overheating.

It's working.
I used this on my mini PC with an R7 8845HS. Idle temperatures didnโt change โ still around 50โ55ยฐC. In Valorant, with the old thermal paste, temps would reach 87ยฐC; now they average 77โ80ยฐC. So overall, itโs a bit better.

So far, so good!
PTM7950 is very tricky to work with. I used it on my Minisforum BD795M. The trick is to put it into you freezer for about 20-30 minutes just prior to applying. I was lucky because I just had enough to do the job. Next time I am buy 2 to 3 times the size I need, because if I messed up, I would have been dead in the water. But temps are holding better than before so this stuff is a win. The best part about PTN7950 is its longevity. That is exactly what I am going for here.

Easy to apply and good performance.
Fairly simple to apply onto my Asus G14 laptop. I saw about 5c improvement from the old paste which is great for a laptop.

Sticky and hard to work with.
This stuff sucked to work with, the clear film is way too hard to peel off and you can't apply it without it sticking to whatever you're using, and you only get just enough for one project with no screw ups. It made no difference in temperature from the 15 year old material already on the heat sink. I would not buy it again.

Fantastic heat dissipation!
This product is somrthing every build should have. PTM7950 after application was able to reduce 20ยฐc from the hot spot of my AMD RX 7900 XTX. Also I have seen videos where the temp would go down on further usage. Be careful in applying it. It has potective film on either side, so keep in the freeze hox for a bit of hardening where the removal becomes easy. Use the removal stickers included in the package to peel off the protective film on either sides and best thing is to use a tweezer if you have delicate hands.

Works amazing!
I bought this for the steam deck to see if I could drop the temperatures as I've heard good reviews on this phase changing thermal paste. All I can say is the photos literally show proof that this stuff works, I have added a before and after photo, game tested was Ragnarok. CPU temperature dropped about 7c Whilst the GPU drop a crazy 13c Literally looks for your self. I'm very happy with this purchase and will definitely be buying more for anymore future projects of mine :)

Was fighting with thermal throttling in Razer 16" / RTX 4090
Crazy! Razer 16" with 4090 got repasted (both GPU and CPU). Just 5 mins of gaming (for "first bake") - temperature stabilized <= 80C. Thermal throttling has gone: was - 90W consumption max, 86C permanently in Elden Ring/Clair Obscur/Wukong/etc., FPS in Elden Ring was never higher than 45-50 (1440p). now - up to 140W consumption, temp <=80C. Wukong FPS increased from 60 (with drops) to avg 120. Elden Ring finally runs at 60FPS (capped programmatically). I literally feel like I got laptop upgraded! Delivery from US to Ireland, despite lack of tracking via Amazon, was super fast - like ordered on Saturday, got it by Thursday.
