It's not an "Impossible Vermouth." It's a tofu burger.
Impossible burger: while not 100% it's, like, 98% of the way to tasting and feeling like a beef burger, and if you served it to someone without telling them it's not meat, there's a chance they may never know. Tofu burger: something very unlike beef in the shape of a burger, so that you have something to put on a bun and enjoy a "burger" while your omnivore friends have real burgers. You're not fooling anybody that this could pass for meat. Free Spirits vermouth is more akin to the tofu burger. It's a flavored liquid in the shape of real vermouth. Set your expectations accordingly. If you, like me, greatly enjoy having cocktails but wish to cut back on the amount of alcohol consumed, this can help. With that in mind, I like to mix this with Free Spirits Gin and Abstinence Blood Orange Aperitif to make a "phony Negroni." It's NOT a Negroni. Don't expect a Negroni. But DO expect an experience that is like having a cocktail, just without getting drunk (or consuming hundreds of calories). Similarly, I wouldn't make, you know, a G&T with the NA gin, or an Old Fashioned with NA bourbon. Those are too booze-forward. I have had good luck making bees knees and whiskey sours, though, by using half actual gin/bourbon and half NA gin/bourbon. Obviously it's not an NA drink at this point, but it's half the alcohol, while retaining the flavor (imagine mixing tofu into some ground beef and making a burger patty: at that point you might not even be aware of the tofu). My point is that if you have any interest in drinking cocktails but cutting back on the amount of alcohol you consume, Free Spirits can help you out. There are options, to either go full NA or to reduce the ABV, just set your expectations on taste accordingly.

Disappointed
My favorite drink is a Manhattan so when I decided to go alcohol free I was excited to find this vermouth. I was very disappointed in the taste and the fact that I was out so much money. I have a lot of alcohol free products I love, but this is not one of them.

Interesting vermouth alternative
Non-Alcoholic Vermouth: $33.28 at the time of review I've never really been much of a drinker. Well many of my friends do (including my spouse), It's just not for me. However, I do enjoy the social aspects of sitting down and drinking with friends. So I like to try different non-alcoholic versions of the spirits that they like. *What I liked*: One of my oldest closest friends loves a Manhattan. He was intrigued when he saw that I had ordered nonalcoholic vermouth. While I'm not the greatest judge of how this compares to the real thing, my friend is. His grade is, "not bad." To me, that is a win. I have tried a great many Alcohol alternative drinks. Most of them are pretty bad. So to get that grade from a real Manhattan drinker is good. I'll also speak to the price here. At the time of review this bottle was a little over $33. That may seem like a lot, but in comparison to a good bottle of vermouth it's really not that much. In my experience, you end up paying about double the cost as a premium for non-alcoholic spirits. I'm happy to see this one buck the trend. *What I didn't like*: The unfortunate thing is that this just isn't for me. As much as my buddy has tried to get me into drinking Manhattans, this was not the way to do it. I found it to be not very palatable, but again, it just isn't my thing. So I won't hold my personal taste against it. *The Bottom Line:* From the mouth of a real drinker, this one isn't too bad. Ultimately, if you're looking for a way to strip the alcohol from your favorite drinks that require vermouth, this is probably a reasonably good way to do so. While I didn't care for the taste, that's more a function of my not caring for the taste of vermouth in general. I don't think this quite warrants a 5 though, so my final score will end up being four stars out of five. I don't think I'd order this over again just because it's not to my taste.

Love this product.
I think this is even better than Lyre's Rosso. And that is saying alot! Makes great Manhattans and Negronis.

Not a Dupe
It's ok and if you must give up alcohol, it might work in some combinations. It doesn't taste anything like vermouth, however. It doesn't taste bad, just different.

Non alcoholic vermouth
This non alcoholic vermouth is wonderful! I got it for my non drinking husband, who is often at a loss for what to imbibe when we're entertaining guests with cocktails. He was very reluctant to try it because vermouth he's tried in the past had an off-putting bitter flavor. So I decided to make a martini with it. I used 3 tablespoons of this vermouth, one tablespoon vodka, and topped it off with mint leaf tea. Such a unique flavor! This vermouth is sweet and slightly spicy and easy to pair with many other beverages. Very versatile, which surprises me a lot. My husband tried it, thought it was interesting, and poured himself a glass over rocks. He likes it! He was very hesitant as it tasted to him like a mulled bourbon. He had to take a double look at the label to make sure. With the mild citrus like spices, it warms the belly similarly to alcohol. It's reminiscent of spiced rum with sweet molasses notes. I'm pleased with this gourmet product.

Made a great brandy Manhattan
Free Spirits Non-Alcoholic Vermouth Rosso - Platinum Medal Winning Sweet Vermouth Alternative - Low Calorie, Vegan, Gluten-Free with Vitamins - Natural Ingredients for Delicious Cocktails - 750 ml Bottle I'm a beginner mixologist who enjoys cocktails but not always the alcohol. This non-alcoholic vermouth is a great way for me to cut the alcohol content of my brandy Manhattans by 1/3 with no effort at all. In fact, I'd love to try it with the Free Spirits Brandy and make it a 0 alcohol cocktail. For me the cocktail is about the fun of mixing, pouring, and drinking. Not necessarily the alcohol. I really enjoyed this nonalcoholic alternative.
