Does everything I wanted one to do,r red r me. But are still great things to have.
Works great and is helping keep track of stress level, sleep, calories burned, and my steps. It is far more accurate than the offbrand fitness bands I've had in the past. The charger charges the device fast. No waiting hours for it to charge to full. It was super easy to connect to my phone. I got over a week charge before I had to put it on the charger. I haven't taken it into the shower. So I don't know if it is resistant to that. It has a sedimentary reminder. Which has been an interesting feature to get used to. It vibrates to remind you to move.

knows what to do without your having to tell it!
I have an Apple "smart" watch (which I call "my Apple Stupid Watch") which is useful for telling me when I have a phone call or a text message, but it won't record bike rides, hiking, outdoor walking etc. unless I respond to its annoying thwacks on my wrist to tell it to record. Same with sleep -- the Apple watch won't record my sleep unless I fall asleep inside the "sleep focus" time period, and even then it doesn't record it. --- I bought this Fitbit because I knew from the one I had in the past that it would record my sleep, bike rides, etc., automatically, without my having to tell it to. My only disappointment is that it no longer produces on my phone the nice graphics display it used to have for sleep modes. Instead the graphics are choppy, monotone, not fun to look at. But it tells me when I slept and how I slept, and that's what I want to know. Thanks, Fitbit, for being smarter than the smarty-pants watch.

Better than inspire 2
Brighter screen than the inspire 2. Tracks sleeping and heart rate better as well. Also like the screen protectors better for this version.

Annoying but ultimately functional
Annoying. Can't turn off ALL the notifications. Turned off as many as I could and it still freaking buzzes all the time. I read the reviews about that but thought I could turn off more. Nope. Only had for about a month before it required an update? Annoying. Has a lot of options but I just want it to track my steps. Have to log into the FitBit App then the other fitness app for work even though they should be synced. Annoying. Does it work? Yes. Does it do all the things it claims to do? Yes. Is it annoying? Yes. Plan accordingly.

Has all of the features I need, and then some.
I LOVE my new fitbit! I didn't think that there was much difference between the 2 and 3, but I was SO wrong. The whole layout is different, I now get notifications, and best of all, if I put my phone down somewhere, I can ping it. It is almost as small as the Fitbit Inspire 2 so that is a plus. The only con is that because it does have more features, I need to charge it more frequently.

Don’t waste your money - Fitbit took an ok product and ruined it
I bought this a while ago and waited to write a review to see if it improved or if I hated it less. I don’t - I just hate it more. Save your money and buy something else. It’s terrible. I wanted an inexpensive fitness tracker I could also wear in the water. I previously hade a Luxe and while it wasn’t the greatest, it was functional. I could easily track my 6 most used fitness types, set intervals, and easily change bands. Fitbit took all that and ruined it. CONS: 1. Took away the exercise shortcuts. Instead it now tracks your three most recently used, even if it wasn’t an exercise you did recently. Like the way it tells me I’m on the elliptical when I’m actually doing my hair in the morning. Why? Zero reason. People have submitted notifications regarding the lost functionality and Fitbit is more than aware that people don’t like it. The answer has a gag-inducing “maybe you’ll find something new” as you have to scroll down the endless list of exercises you may never do. I will never ever ever need snowboarding, but I have to scroll past it to get to all my common workouts which lucky me - are all toward the end (walking, weights, workout, yoga, Pilates). Fitbit’s aware because people have been complaining on the forums - they just don’t care. 2. You can’t choose an interval other than 30 minutes. Or - you CAN choose one, it just won’t work. You’re supposed to be able to go into your no longer functional exercise shortcuts, choose interval, and then set the kind of interval you want. And it’ll look like it worked. I guess because the shortcuts no longer work, the ability to change the interval length doesn’t either. And once you hit those 30 minutes the app stops tracking the intervals. You’re done. Freaking useless. Edit: ok you CAN set intervals, but only using the device itself, which for this model means a super tiny screen with even tinier numbers. Setting the intervals on the device face is incredibly frustrating versus being able to use the app to do so. So still a con. 3. The band! Fitbit took what was the easiest band to change out and over-engineered it into the most complicated crap imaginable. It used to be super easy to change out bands - click the inside bit and the band released, pop the other one in. Now it has this bizarre complicated pin thing that’s just about impossible to set correctly without 3 hands and which is NOT secure. If you don’t get the stupid pin in just the right place it’ll come out and the band may disengage. Why? Just why????? I cannot WAIT to be attempting to change out a band only to have that pin thing go flicking out somewhere and getting lost, rendering the band and Fitbit useless. 4. The new charger. Instead of the easy attach/detach magnetic one, this one clicks on and then you have to get your thumbnail between the charger part and the Fitbit to pry the two items apart. Fun for people with arthritic fingers! Pro: can be used in the water. That’s it. Everything else about it sucks so so so much. I don’t want to sink several hundred dollars into an Apple Watch. I just want a decent little fitness tracker that tracks my basic exercises and doesn’t enrage me every single time I wear it. This ain’t it. Bottom line: don’t waste your money

Excellent tracker
This was a replacement for the inspire 2 and it was well worth it. Very easy to set up and sync. I like that the watch can be set to stay on all the time if you want it that way. Very accurate. It also has a phone finder which is nice. Connects very well. I've only been wearing mine for 5 days and so far the battery life is good, I still have about 50% left.
