Age appropriate, Nephew 11yrs old love it. If your kids love putting things together this is a great choice.

Great gift

My pre-teen son likes this Meccano set. Some of the configurations are difficult to assemble on his own at his skill level.

I thought it was a bit trying to assemble. My child lost interest very quickly despite being having built several of similar projects. The stickers fell off after about a week. If you are going to build this I would advise making sure you have either a big space to spread the parts out or an storage container big enough for the car as it can get very frustrating to try and bend some of the pieces into place

Parts don't fit, you have to bend things to assemble. Definitely not suitable for an eight year old. Steer well clear of this, it's certainly not the Meccano that I played with as a child.

Was ok

This is quite complex even for an adult reasonably skilled at assembling stuff. No way a kid can put this together.

I purchased it as birthday gift for my son , it’s first time I purchase Meccano product .a piece was missing , really disappointed.

Unfortunately my grandsons 8 th birthday was a disappointment one part was missing in the box. Part number A837, I notest when we opened the box that some of the plastic bags were open. There was only 3 of these parts in stead of 4.
