Great covers for people who like a certain fit, if you do a couple of things first...
I didn't really like these covers during the first few days of use. However, after I did a few things, I came to like them a lot. My take... Ear comfort: These are made specifically for people who want to channel the audio into the ear canal. If you don't like covers that have a nub that sticks into the ear canal, you won't like these, so don't buy them. My wife is one of those people, and she thinks these are very uncomfortable. Also, when they arrive, the tips have a little piece of plastic inside them (presumably to hold the shape?). These add to the discomfort, so I carefully dislodged them and threw them in the trash. The nubs that anchor the covers into the ear canal now have more "give", and they're more comfortable. Sound: Before ordering, I read in other reviews that the higher frequencies are dulled a bit. Well, it's true. Some sharpness is lost on that end of the spectrum, but it's not terrible. Without covers at all, my AirPods would only have respectable bass response if I made sure there was a good seal between the AirPods and my ear canal. With any movement, this seal would inevitably become broken, and the bass would practically disappear. These covers fix that problem. Due to the nub that goes into the ear canal, the seal stays intact, and as a result, the bass and midrange sounds stay rich. Putting them on & taking them off: When I first received them, they were stiff, which made it hard to put them on my AirPods. Since you can't charge your AirPods with them on, I wasn't looking forward to repeatedly taking them off and then struggling to put them back on. However, over the next few days, I was delighted to discover that they loosen up considerably. In fact, when I got a second set of them, the first thing I did was patiently apply the stiff covers to my AirPods, and then I didn't take them off for two or three days. After that, they were stretched enough for me to be able to remove and put back on very quickly. If you aren't willing to be without your AirPods while the covers loosen up (since you would have to take them off to charge the AirPods once the batteries drain), then they will also loosen up over the next week as you repeatedly put them on and take them off, but the process will be a little frustrating in the meantime. Customer service: I ended up with a tear on the back side of one of my covers. Since I hadn't noticed it right away, I'm honestly not certain if it was there when I received them or if I accidentally tore them while trying to apply them to my AirPods while they were still stiff (this is why I urge patience while applying them during the break-in period). I reached out to ACOUS customer service, and after sending them a picture of the tear that they requested, they had no problem sending me a new set. So, I can say that the company is responsive and stands behind the product. Bottom line: 4.5/5 stars (since you can't do half stars, I gave them the bump-up). I knocked off a little for the higher frequencies being muted somewhat. I gave this feedback to the company. They acknowledged that this was a challenge while trying to create a product that channels the audio directly into the ear canal. For me, the trade-off to preserve a good bass response is worth it. I hope at some point their testing will reveal a way to upgrade the design to bring back some of the higher frequencies. If they do, I'll be in line to buy them. I hope this was helpful to some.

Finally a great fitting earbud cover!
Took a minute or two to figure out how to get them on my Wired Ear Pods. Fits ear canal with ease and stays in place. Don’t understand why I see reviews with ear pain. I took a nap with them on and felt no pain afterwards. Only draw back is that they do cover the speaker that rests against the ear ( reason for the muffled sound) I used a small hole puncher and popped a hole where I marked the covered speaker ( included a pic). It actually sounds better but I guess I didn’t mind the original sound. I guess that’s why I’m getting another one in a different color. Overall, a great fitting earbud, finally!

Comfortable for the first 30 minutes. Does not "improve sound quality" AT ALL.
I was excited to finally get some deep rich sound without having to hold the earpods/airpods into the proper position to get that level of richness in my music. After using them for an hour. My ears started getting aches from the hard plastic insert the covers have inside to "channel" the music into your ear. I took out the insert to see if it helped with the aches. Just a small amount. But the sound quality was still the same. I examined the plastic insert and noticed it doesn't really fit snuggly onto the earpods/airpods speaker end. The silicone edge where the little insert sits in front us provides a seal between the two but doesn't enhance the sound experience. I positioned it many times back and forth, pulling and adjusting it, but none really improved the sound other than helping me keep them in my ears and playing at a steady sound quality. (Not as deep a bass that I'm used to without any cover) I just wasn't impressed by the covers. The only thing that i was happy about was the fact they wouldn't fall out of my ear anymore, but discomfort after an hour of listening to music doesn't make for a "better experience" Most of the people reviewing these will hype them up cause they probably only use them from minutes at a time. I draw, and do design work, so listening to music while working is a must to keep the flow of creativity coming. This is my personal opinion and description of my first couple days using them after they arrived. Which totals about 7-8 hours of continuous use each day for a total of 16 hours of use. Don't let my opinion affect your choice to try them yourself. Just know, keep the packaging tear free to possibly return them after being disappointed.

great seal, incredible comfort, improves sound quality...at a cost
1. SEAL: These drastically improve the functionality of the airpods. The seal alone means, they don't fall into the gutter when you bend down to tie your shoe laces while jogging in the park! Depending on your ear canal, I suspect even those with small ear canals will be able to keep these in their ear. They simply won't fall out! 2. COMFORT: the silicone is soft, smooth, and non irritating to the ear canal. They don't itch in cold or warm weather. Even when you sweat, they don't make that "slushy" sound other products do. 3. NOISE CANCELLATION: These offer incredible passive noise cancellation, meaning, no software or electronic modification, the seal simply blocks out more outside noise. They still don't block out as much as molded tips like the ones that look like ear plugs, but that's not the point. They can be taken in and out of your ear fairly easily, and blocks out enough noise where you can listen to your Iphone at 20% volume in a noisy environment. Before I had to have my earpods at 80% to have the same volume. 4: SOUND QUALITY: Interestingly, the sound quality is changed more than improved...depending on the user, and type of music, this may affect your judgement. On a EQ, the airpods managed to achieve a nearly flat response, which is terrific for accuracy. However, the punchiness isn't there with their open design. These silicone airpod covers add a proper seal, that tips the EQ towards the lower register. There is more bass, but the response is FAR from flat. It's as if you've turned down the trebble drastically, and made the bass more punchy, but overall less crisp. For bass heavy, over compressed pop music, this shouldn't be a problem. However, don't expect to be able to tell the nuances of Debussy's Prelude to the afternoon of a Faun. The airpods are much more accurate in sound quality without the silicone covers, but the bass is stronger, and overall everything is louder, with treble seemingly turned down way low, if that makes sense. 5. BUILD QUALITY/DESIGN: Overall, seems great. I am a little concerned about the fact that you have to take them on and off repeatedly. I am hoping that overtime it doesn't get loose or torn. The silicone seems durable enough so far. I will update my review 6 months from now to let you know how they hold up! FINAL THOUGHTS: If you move around alot, these are great. They are much better than the hook kind, or the kind that have an extra piece that goes into your ear. The sound is louder, and more bassy, but less crisp, and less trebble. Fine for most applications. Comfort is great. Actually overtime you'll find that you'll accidentally leave them in your ear cause you barely notice they're there! VERDICT: Worth buying!...a little overpriced...$16 for one pair...but still worth it!

Amazing Sound
These are amazing, they provide excellent sound quality and they keep the buds in you ear (if you remove the plastic piece that holds their form). But they are a pain to put on. You have to rub them to get them warm so they work easier and that means you get dirt and oil from your hands on them in addition to whatever sweat or whatnot may get on them from your ear. This combination makes them difficult to put on unless you clean them regularly. I really just wanted something that was quick and easy to put on and these did not fit the bill. I was also worried that because they are so thin they would rip easily so I returned them.

These work great
The Apple wireless earphones are fantastic. They work super well and setup is a breeze. They will work with your iPhone, your iPad, your MacBook, and even your AppleTV. If it runs an apple OS, they will work with it. They are by far the best non audiophile earphones on the market. It's not even close. The sound quality is not bad, I'd like to add, but it's not audiophile level. The one bad thing about the AirPods is how they fit. Earphones can not be just plastic. That's terrible design. They don't fit in your ear well. They will hurt after being in your ear a long time. They will not stay in your ear. They will not isolate sound. And the list goes on. The AirPods don't really go into your ear canal, but they hang on your ear. That makes sense if you've ever used an Apple earphone recently. You don't want that. You want IEM's. You want your earphones to go into your year canal, slightly, with a rubber tip that isolates sound and keeps the damn thing in your ear. These are little rubber covers that go over the AirPods allow you to turn them into IEM, in ear monitors. They fit well. They work with the little built in sensors on the AirPod, and they make your earphones sound better WHILE keeping them in your ear. The only downside is you have to put them on and take them off every time you use your AirPods, as they will not fit into their home with them installed on the AirPods. It gets annoying, but that's what you have to do to turn Apple's AirPods into IEMS. You also have to carry them with you. They are small and getting lost is part of their job. I 100% recommend these to anyone that wants their AirPods to stay in their ear and sound better.

Made my Razer Hammerheads more comfortable
I was skeptical when I bought these because I use Razer Hammerhead earbuds instead of Airpods, but I figured I would give them a try because they were about the same shape, and I was not disappointed. I have small ears and I can only wear soft-tipped earbuds, but these are my favorite earbuds so I was determined to make them fit comfortably. Pros: -They came in yellow so they matched the earbuds ^~^ -They fit the earbuds perfectly despite them not being Airpods -They made my earbuds more comfortable to wear -They help my earbuds stay securely in my ears -Amplified the bass slightly Cons: -I need to take them off to put the earbuds back in the charging case (which I don't mind too much, i have a carrying case on a keychain to hold them) -They made the sound slightly muddier (but not too much, still good sound quality) -Noise cancellation isn't great -Blocks the vents on the earbuds for the bass (which was my own fault since I'm not using them for Airpods, a little surgery with an Xacto knife fixed it easily) -Price is a bit steep considering you only get a single pair of covers Overall I definitely recommend these if you have anti-Airpod ears like I do, they make hard-tipped earbuds so much more comfortable, and chances are they'll most likely fit other brands of earbuds too. They're a bit pricey for only a single set, but if you have a favorite pair of earbuds that you desperately want to make comfortable like I did, these things are definitely worth it.

I like em
Don’t normally give 5 stars for anything but so far I’m pretty impressed with these covers. So far they’re comfortable and the sound is better with them on. A little bit of a pain to put them on but I think that will get better with use.

Exactly what I was looking for and they fit my large ears perfectly!!!
The AirPods have been absolutely a struggle for me till now. They kept slipping out and were impossible to use. So first I tried the normal Ear Hook types and the also the ones made by Spigen. Both were absolutely hopeless in my ears. Probably meant for normal people or something ¯\_(ツ)_/¯ Then I figured, I can probably make something better than these dolts. So first I tried foam covers but they kept slipping around and then the sensors don't work. Next, tried using round dots of a rubberized 3M tape as recommended by Lifehacker, but that was not thick enough and would keep slipping off. When the layer of tape was thick enough to secure the AirPods to my ears, the case would not fully close. Much tweaking, trial & error later I gave up on that and figured let me make some earmolds. The custom fit types. Found a bunch of videos using the Radians kit. Tried that and my first try was pretty decent. Good fit, good sound, etc, but kinda big to carry around. Then somehow I stumbled upon these and my life is complete. I have the magic of the AirPods with the assurance that they won't slip outta my ears, without the bulky weird looking molds! If you are struggling to get those dainty little marvels of technology to fit snugly in your oversized ogre ears, like me, then know there is light at the end of this Buy button!!
