Informative, brilliantly written and accessible- this book is a must have.
In a world of โnoiseโ about โhealthy eatingโ, where there is so much confusion and contradictory advice, Rhiannonโs latest book is an absolute tonic. The book doesnโt try and convert you to being a vegan (being a vegan/vegetarian and being plant based are very different!) but explains so much about the benefits of plant based living, introducing more plants into your diet and explaining how to make sensible, sustainable choices. This can include eating small amounts of good quality meat and fish. A truly realistic way of approaching healthy eating for life, rather than the latest fad, this book should be in all libraries, all schools and all hospitals as a bit of a bible on how to eat properly. Itโs also beautifully photographed, which makes it a joy to read. Rhiannon is a registered nutritionist, and thatโs clear to see from the book. I absolutely loved reading it, and continue to follow Rhiannonโs sensible, realistic advice both through her books and social media pages. A must buy!

Full of nutritional knowledge
Love Rhiannon's book. This is her 3rd one I have brought. This book doesn't disappoint. It is helping me feed my knowledge of leading a healthy plant based lifestyle. Definitely one you need in your home to explore more of a healthy lifestyle around foods from the earth. Fantastically written, easy to understand.

I have given low stars on the delivery as the book is excellent. See below.
The deliverer said he/she placed the package "in the letter box". No, not so, it was left outside on the step after dark. We left the porch door ajar so it could be put on the shelf. We were at home and did not hear any knock, etc. I just want to say that the book is just what I wanted. This delivery is the first time in all my time buying from Amazon that I have written a negative delivery response.

A lot of interesting information.
A lot of information which I will apply to our eating habits. Unfortunately there are several misleading facts which have been pointed out by another reviewer. Nevertheless, a good book to dip into as each segment is quite short. Do not feel blinded by the science.

Iโve really enjoyed working my way through this book. Itโs informative and I really appreciate the carefully considered layout of the book. The information is presented in an engaging and easy to understand format, satisfying my interest in nutrition - clearly explaining the benefits of moving towards a more heavily plant focussed lifestyle for everyone. Simple Way to learn about Plant-based Nutrion what I can actually remember and apply every day
I enjoyed reading the book. Because of the illustrations and simple text, I learned and remembered most of the information. I have implemented many things in my lifestyle. Reading the science behind plant-based nutrition helped me understand what's behind it. I started eating more greens and less processed foods naturally.

user friendly and informative
I like books that impart what i call, "news you can use." I love to learn the science behind things, but not to get bogged down in reems of science with very little thought to how I can best use the information. This book is truly news you CAN use. It is a very comprehensive primer on plant based nutrition, laid out in a very user-friendly manner. It is broken down into all the topics that one eating this way needs to know. It is like getting a course in plant based nutrition with an eye to how to put the science to use in designing your own eating plan in a way that ensures optimal nutrition. All relevant topics are discussed such as supplements--which ones are needed and which aren't. How to get the best possible macro and micro nutrients from food. When, if, and how to supplement. How to get all the protein you need. Probiotics in food. Prebiotics in food. Gut health. What precisely constitutes a whole foods plant based diet. Processed vegan foods to be wary of. Its got it all. How your risk for all the food related degenerative diseases goes down with a WELL PLANNED whole foods plant based diet. Sections on how to approach it if you are not ready to give up meat, or eggs, or dairy, etc. There is much here to learn now matter where you are on the continuum of plant based eating. And all the science you need IN A USER FRIENDLY FORMAT to make sure you are eating optimally. Well worth the purchase price.
