Just about perfect!
Save yourself a trip to your car mechanic, because this is the cheapest way to do it, it just takes patience and carefully looking at the instructions. If you look at the very last photo where there isn’t any ice on my car, but a bunch of fog or whatever, you can see that I bought this because several of my defrosting strips were not working; please ignore the pieces of tape. I just put them there. I said I knew where I had to paint on the magnetic defrosting paint. As you can see in the later photos with the little bits of glue left on, it does 100% work if you follow the instructions as well. Now, all of my defrosting strips, except one work, except for one, because so much was damaged that it was hard to paint it on correctly so ignore that one – the product does work. It’s just me that made one not work at the end of the day. If you see the close-up shots from the inside and outside of the car, you can kind of see the brownish color going outside the straight rectangle, because you know we’re gonna paint things on more inaccurately than a machine would when the rear windshield is made in a factory. This process was kind of difficult, because if you have a car like mine, you’ll be painting with the brush, almost vertical, but since paint is liquid, it kind of drips down. Because of that, the only way that I would give it my whole heart backing is if they had some way to hold the paint back while you’re painting instead of having it dripped down to the bottom of the handle while I’m trying to paint, something to fight gravity. They also were nice because they put enough paint in the bottle that I was able to fix quite a large area of defrosting paint, with just one bottle. All I have to say about this product that made me review it highly, was that you really need to follow the manual step by little step, otherwise it probably won’t work. Great product, and please make the brush softer and have a little more paint so it’s easier to make a heavier coat.

Have patience it works
Used this on an older car with a few inoperable lines. Definitely skip using the template provided. I used blue tape so i can control the area to be fixed. The template provided is really wide and the "paint" will overlap the line. It took me a few tries on some lines before i got results. It won't be a 100% like brand new but it will be working. What i mean by that, is on the treated line, you may see where the break in the line occurred. Both sides of the line are working , but the place of the break it has a small defrost area due to connection not being 100%. I could probably try and add more to improve, but I got a whole like to work so i'm more than content.

Great product, but little expensive
This was the original brand my dad taught me with over 30 years. I have repaired many defroster lines over the years and it works just as well. The only reason I have it 4 stars and not 5 is because although this stuff isn't cheap, buying it this time the price was very high.

Defroster kit.
I’m pretty handy and this kit wasn’t great. I tried many options to make this work and it’s likely good for a small break but nothing larger. Epic fail! I had multiple breaks as there must have been tint on at some point and pulled the element when removed.

Follow the instructions and it works.
This product works just fine. Follow the instructions. There is one thing that someone mentioned in a video: "The brush doesn't reach the bottom of the bottle." So if you have a lot of broken spots like I did - you will need a little bit longer brush. You can use a very small artists paint brush and cut it down. I ordered another bottle to finish the job just because I have an old car with lots of breaks. Don't put stickers on the inside of your rear window!

Easy to use
Worked like a charm! I can now see out of my back window again on cold mornings. The bottle had more the enough to fix multiple locations. I still have some leftover for possibly future repairs. Great product!

Terrible.
Follows the directions and it peeled off with the tape. Was honestly a waste of an hour working on it. Truly not worth it.

Worked perfectly
While replacing a dash camera I accidentally scrapped off the paint to my rear defroster. As my van is a 2022 Pacifica I wasn’t about to get the rear glass replaced. The kit is small but comes with all you need. The tape is perfect sized to get in between the lines. The instructions are simple and clear. The paint is thick and dried fast. A couple coats and it was good as new. I thought it would look ugly and out of place but it actually is barely noticeable. A great cheap alternative to fix a simple issue without having to replace the entire glass.

Finally a repair that actually worked
I wasted money on some cheaper brands. One of them worked for only two days, and the other didn’t work at all. Although this product is more expensive, it is very effective. I repaired my grid line by following the instructions on a −10°C day, and it has been working perfectly. Highly recommended.

Did a great job!
Spent a fair bit of time looking at the reviews of other products. Despite there not being too much out there for this one, and it being quite a bit more expensive, I just had a better feeling about this one in terms of quality, colour, and amount of repair material. I looked into ordering directly from the company, but shipping was going to cost more than the product itself. Was cheaper to order through Amazon. Very glad I went with it. If you take the time to mask the lines carefully (I evidently used much longer strips of tape than I needed), and follow the directions, you get a virtually invisible repair. I had four a hairline scratch through four of the grid lines in my vehicle. Did the repair during a Chinook in February, where the outside temperature was about 8*C, and used a hairdryer for 10 minutes, to keep the glass warm, as per the instructions. Works perfectly now and I can’t see the repair without looking carefully or feeling for the repair itself. I also have quite a bit leftover for future needs (assuming it stores well and doesn’t dry out). Very pleased!
