Nice off-brand battery.
I have several Waitley batteries which I use in my 20V Dewalt tools. Their 6AH batter seems to be about on a par with the standard Dewalt 5AH. So far I have not had any issues with the Waitley batteries. After several years of moderate use, I haven't had any go bad or have charging issues. These new Waitley's have USB charging ports on the front so they can be used as a job site battery bank to recharge your phone or tablet.

You canโt beat this battery for the price! Also comes with usb and type C fast charging ports on the front. Iโve had this battery for about a year now and have had no issues! I will say the external case doesnโt have any rubber and the plastic feels thinner than Dewalt batteries. Luckily I havenโt dropped the battery yet.

good option for aftermarket battery.
Good fit in my drill. It doesn't perform quite as good as a 5ah DeWalt battery, but for the price I feel like it's a good value. The USB charger is a nice touch, but you cannot charge the battery with USB. My nail gun usually quits working when the battery gets below 50 percent. It works great with drills and saws. I will probably buy a couple more.

Perfectly fine battery
Very good battery charged it once lasted for hours and hours. Love the idea that you can charge your phone or iPad from this battery.

No luck with Waitley batteries
I had a Waitley 20v that died.Bought it June 2023. I bought this new upgraded one in May 2025. I am retired so I used it couple times a week This battery will not keep a charge. The bat. will be dead and when charging the DeWalt charger says it is fully charged after 1 minute. I go to use the battery , it dies after 10 seconds. I contacted Waitley to no avail. Just want to say me piece on this battery.

Long life
Hands down the best alternative for a dewalt battery and actually lasts longer than a dewalt. Iโve tried others and this one hits all the marks. Also cool it has the usb connection and charges a phone up quick.

I have had this battery for over 2 years and works great. Definitely recommend it.

Initially, they work well and recharge in the DeWalt chargers. Will see if they hold up over time.
These seem to work fine with my DeWalt power tools and charge in the DeWalt chargers. But the rub on these batteries is their lifetime and number of recharges they can do before dying compared to regular DeWalt batteries. My power tools don't get constant use so it may take a while and several recharges to see if they can match the longevity of the DeWalt batteries. Will update.
