Depend Night Defense Adult Diapers, Incontinence & Postpartum Bladder Leak Underwear for Women, Disposable, Overnight, Medium, Blush, 24 Count, Packaging May Vary

Use: elder care. I'm reviewing three incontinence products, for comparison. Depend Night Defense has been excellent in terms of fit, absorption (quantity and quality), and preventing leakage, even overnight. I bought the medium (per the chart) and it fits great; plenty of stretch. The absorption easily handled two 'wee's and/or one wee and a poo (I'm being delicate here, play along please!) with NO leakage! There is no smell to the product, so it is discreet. I have not noticed any skin irritation. Five stars, no complaints. Always Discreet Boutique is excellent in terms of absorption and preventing leakage (daytime use). However, I would recommend sizing up, as the Medium is smaller than the Depend Medium, above. They easily handle either one 'wee' and/or 'poo' with no leakage. They do have a "feminine product" scent, though it is not overpowering. For a couple hours, you will catch whiffs of this distinctive scent. No skin irritation that I've noticed. Four stars (would be five stars, but for the fit). Tena Stylish "Super Plus Heavy" was a disappointment in comparison. I bought Large instead of Medium, as recommended by many reviewers. The width/waist was good, but they fit more like hipsters than briefs. The back coverage was insufficient, and they leaked through to the seat of the pants, even though I did not use it for bedtime/laying prone. Since I had to change them out about two hours after putting them on, I can't speak to skin irritation. They do not have any scent. Two stars.

I purchased the Depend Night Defense Overnight Underwear for my 96-year-old grandmother, and they’ve truly been a game changer for her comfort and health. We use them every night and also on days when she’s not feeling well enough to get around easily. The fit is secure but gentle, with soft material that doesn’t irritate her skin. Most importantly, they keep her clean, dry, and protected through the night, which has greatly reduced the risk of UTIs, something we struggled with before switching to these. The overnight absorbency is excellent. Even after hours of wear, there’s no leaking, no odor, and she still feels fresh in the morning. The blush color is also a nice touch, it feels a bit more dignified than plain white. We’ve tried other brands, but these stand out for their combination of comfort, absorbency, and skin health. For caregivers, knowing your loved one is protected and comfortable brings incredible peace of mind. Highly recommend for anyone caring for an elderly family member or someone recovering from childbirth who needs reliable overnight protection.

Great product, but I don't use them anymore

I usually get the Always brand in the same size (L) but tried these out this time. They're more comfortable than the Always brand bc they aren't tight around my thighs and hips. Because I'm not constantly pulling or adjusting, they're more durable, in my opinion. I'm using them along with my June cup for added protection and they seem pretty absorbent when necessary. I thought the light color would be weird, but all is well so far. I'll definitely keep these in my monthly arsenal! (For reference, I usually wear a size 14-16 in pants)

After trying many brands for my mom, Depend Night Defense is the only one that’s consistently leak proof. She can wear them all night without any discomfort or problems, and they fit her perfectly. It’s such a relief to wake up with dry bedding every morning and know she can rest comfortably. The fabric is soft, not bulky, and holds up really well even on long nights. The only small drawback is that it took us a little while to realize the printed floral design goes in the front. Most other brands have markings or prints on the back, so that was confusing at first. Once we figured that out, everything’s been great. Highly recommend these for anyone who needs dependable overnight protection.

My LO sleeps on her side. When changed regularly there are no leaks or very little when worn all night. A vast improvement from using the side-tab incontinence styles which always leaked and required complete bed and garment changes. Also cause less skin irritation and fit well.

This set of Depends is different. Still says Night Defense and Dryshield, but…. There is a lingering odor Usually when I first open a bag there was a faint smell. Not pleasant but it would vanish and not happen again. This package is different. The odor is stronger and does not dissipate. NOT pleasant. The blue Dryshield has shrunk dramatically. I usually could tell right away if I was opening a regular or nighttime Depends… now not only does the shield show it has significantly shrunk by inches! Since this is a new shipment, I am not yet sure how the change in the shield will affect its use, but the ARIMA. Is unpleasant and lnoe lingering. I may have to change! :(

It’s a terrible product which only lasts a day if that! The crotch is fine but the panty part shreds after just a few uses of going to the bathroom 🚽! It literally falls apart so don’t waste your money! Don’t buy! So disappointed ☹️! I’m glad it’s not the first Depend product that I have used otherwise I would never buy Depend products at all! Regular Depends are ok!

Great fit

What I like most is that there is no leaking. It offered me that security of a good night rest. Very comfortable and moves with my body. On this last order one of the packages came damaged, as if something was spilled on it. Now the product inside was good however, the sticky exterior was truly unpleasant. Normally if I were to buy a package like this in a store, there would have been a discount offered. This is not the Amazon usual standard.
