We needed to see into a pipe to determine if something had dropped into it, our options were to rent a camera or to call and get a charged for a service call on a weekend. We saw this camera and decided to give it a try since we could get same day delivery. The camera worked out great!!! It actually has two cameras; one is in the front, and one is on the side, and you can see both camera views at the same time on the viewing screen. It was easy to use, charged up fast, can take a picture or video, comes with the charging cable and mini-SD card, and we loved that it had a handle. One of us ran the camera into the pipe and the other watched the view screen as the camera moved thru the pipe. Our retired plumber friend was impressed with the clarity of the pictures. We also liked that the picture was in color. This is going to be a great tool to add to our toolbox...a great gift for that someone that has everything. This camera can be used in a ton of areas, pipes, car repairs, vents, to see behind a wall without making a big hole and I am even planning on using it to check our wood stove chimney liner next spring.

I recently started hearing clicking inside the wall similar to water dripping and I thought that I needed a tool to inspect inside the wall to verify if its actually water leak. This tool exceeded my expectations. it's all in one feature which means the device can be handled in one hand and the endoscope on the other. It came with a hard case and nice padding inside, though rolling the endoscope back to the exact same size might be a challenge. I recommend DEPSTECH increasing the case cavity size for the endoscope. LED brightness can be adjusted to reduce glare when getting closer to reflecting objects. Endoscope head accessories are helpful including strong magnet and a hook. The screen is clear and images have high details. Bear in mind this is meant for close objects 1"-3" so farther objects will be blurry. Dual lens can be helpful in some situations without the need to adjust the endoscope The inclusion of a 32GB SD card was a thoughtful touch, eliminating the need to worry about running out of storage space during longer inspection tasks. You are able to take pictures and record 1080 videos which will be stored on the card. No setup is needed except adjusting date and time, just power on and you are ready to go. The borescope camera is one of the tools that you might not think you needed until you are faced with a situation that will come in really handy and can save you a lot of time and money. Highly recommend!

Great camera for the price. I've used it in several job quotes to search through concealed areas looking for rodent entries and renovation obstacles like concealed pipes, wires and ducts. Great picture quality. The only issue I have is the instructions are NOT intuitive at all. It takes pictures when I think it's taking video. It takes video when I think it's taking pictures. I have to go back and read the instructions just about every time when I want to pull up the stored videos and pictures.

This is another great endoscope in the scopes that Depstech produces. This particular, DS590, has a vivid true color 5" ISP display that is integrated into the housing that has a one handed grip and all of the controls for the camera. The housing also has a high performance rechargeable battery with a 2-3 hour working time. The camea iis a super slim 7.9mm in diameter that is at the end of a 16.5 ft cable that is semi rigid allowing it to be snaked through tight spaces. The camera has dual lens, one forward and one at 90 degress to the side. The camera has 1080P HD quality for crisp and clear images and is IP67 waterproof. The display has split screen capability to display one or both camera images simultaneously. The camera head has adjustable LED lights to illuminate the darkest of corners. The hand unit comes with a 32 GB SD memory card that allows both still and video recording of the camera images that can later be downloaded onto a variety of other devices. THe camera comes with very handy hardcase that stores the camera cable, display housing, recharging USB cable and set of camera tip accessories. The included manual is well written and easy to understand. I love the one handed operation which makes using it so easy. I also like the dual lens that allows me to see in front and to the side at one time. I would recommend this endoscope system to anyone.

Removes the mystery from behind walls and difficult to access areas. This is a very handy and easy to use endoscope. The screen is sufficiently large and the handle with control buttons really makes using this device a breeze. The high-resolution image displays excellent detail and the probe LED illumination works fantastic. The camera and software do virtually everything you would expect. After reading the manual and using this device a time or two, the features and functions become intuitive. Battery life is two to three hours and is plenty of working time for most jobs. The accessories and case are great and the flexible 16' probe is just rigid enough. This is an impressive high-quality tool at a reasonable price. Check it out for yourself... you'll be glad you did.

The quality of the DS590 Depstech industrial endoscope is exceptional and the “handle” feature makes it easier to hold than my phone and larger screen models. The controls can be easily selected with your thumb while holding the handle. The screen resolution is amazing with an easy to use settings menu to select user language (6 different languages), resolution, screen brightness and much more. Pictures and videos can be taken through the camera which is on the end of a 16.5 foot semi-flexible cable. This cable is a little lighter duty (7.9mm) than my full screen model, but due to its flexibility and thinner diameter it makes it easier to work in tight spaces. Save up to 5000 pictures on the supplied 32G micro SD card with exceptionally clear quality. Videos can also be captured and saved. Pictures and videos can then be transferred to a computer through a SD card reader or type-C cable (included). I have used this industrial endoscope to solve for many DIY issues: unclogging drains and toilets, investigating mini split drainage issues, fixing the ice maker in my refrigerator and so much more. One of the fun ways I found to use the endoscope included my recently purchased 2002 Jeep TJ Wrangler, I was in need of a way to inspect the frame of this vehicle. Jeeps in this age range are notorious for rust, so I wanted to assess the inside of the frame so that I could take the correct actions. I recently had the opportunity to use the DS590 industrial endoscope for a frame inspection on my Jeep TJ, and I must say that I was impressed with its performance. Here's my detailed review of the product: Firstly, the display of the borescope is excellent. The 5-inch high-definition display is large and provides images and videos that are much clearer than other scopes. This provides crystal clear views from any angle allowing for overall inspections or honing in on fine details. The length and flexibility of the endoscope cable were more than sufficient for my needs. While I cannot comment on its long-term durability based on a single use, the initial impression was positive. The very sturdy hard-sided carrying case protects the scope with foam padding and keeps all components in a safe location. Overall, I found the DS590 to be a reliable tool for frame inspections on a Jeep TJ. Its compatibility, length, flexibility, lighting, image/video quality, and user-friendly app all contributed to a satisfying experience. The ability to capture clear visuals and document the condition of the frame was invaluable. Based on my experience, I would highly recommend this industrial endoscope for anyone seeking a reliable and versatile tool for frame inspections. I can also see many other households uses for the DS590. It offers excellent value for its features and performance, making it a worthwhile investment for automotive enthusiasts and do-it-yourselfers alike.

Great camera, terrible battery. I've had this borescope for 2 years. PRO: It works well and image quality is good. The ability to do forward and side camera is very useful. CON: Battery life is practically useless and you have to keep it tethered to a USB charging cable if you want to use it for more than a few minutes. When it was new it only lasted 15min on a full charge. Weak but usable. It now only makes it about 5min. You have to start on a full charge and tether it to an external battery pack. Mine is obviously out of warranty but maybe Depstech would like to send me a replacement?

The storage case is more practical with a carry handle and foam cutouts to protect the unit. Let’s start by saying that the Depstech DS590 endoscope is a nice improvement over other models. The screen is large, bright and super sharp. A 2-3 hour working time with the larger rechargeable battery is a good amount of time to use the unit without having to charge or plug in a power bank. It does take a little time to get used to the buttons as some of them have multiple functions depending on a quick press or hold. Reading the manual quickly clarifies this. Taking a picture or a video is a piece of cake, press the orange button once quickly for an image or press and hold to start/stop the video. After, the images can be viewed on the screen or use the included cable to connect to a laptop to upload the images or videos. The Micro SD memory card can also easily be removed and put into the card slot on a computer for easy access and download. You may need to use an SD card adapter, but it seems that most of us have several these days. Clarity of the image is exceptional, although if the camera cable is placed many feet away from the main unit, pictures can be a little shaky as would be expected over a long wire/cable length. I have added a few images taken with this endoscope, one is what a garbage disposal unit looks like. Surprise, there are no blades. The other images I took of an hvac vent/duct. I was able to see how much dust and debris has accumulated over the years, which needs to be professionally cleaned. With this tool, out of sight, out of mind is an old adage. What couldn’t be seen before is now easily seen. With this tool one can: Check to see if a clothes dryer vent needs cleaning from where the outside exhaust is located. Check to see if inside the clothes dryer past the lint screen needs to be cleaned. The above is important as house fires have happened from lint laden vents. Check Air conditioner and heating ducts for dust buildup. Cleaning on a regular basis will keep these systems working easier, more efficiently and longer. Look under refrigerators and freezers to see dust and debris needs to be cleaned. Garbage disposals and what is jamming same. Drains of all types. If something accidently been dropped, such as a ring, it can be easily found and retrieved using the magnet or hook attachments. This is especially useful as one does not need to disassemble the drain trap. It is useful to look inside of walls for electrical lines or plumbing with only a small, easily fixable hole. Working on a car: Dropped nuts, bolts and other small parts can be easily located and extracted. I am planning on opening my water heater to examine the condition of the anode rod and check for accumulated hard water scale. I normally acid wash and change the anode rod about every 3 years. I will be able to see any and all mineral scale buildup and make sure the cleaning is complete before putting it back in service. For all you hands-on home improvement warriors, this is a must add for your toolbox.

Cette Caméra Endoscopique est un produit d'excellente qualité et son câble Semi-rigide de 15M de long est son grand atout pour aller vérifier de l'intérieur une canalisation bouchée ou écrasé et déterminer l'endroit exact du problème , personnellement j'ai pu trouver ou été mon problème avec elle . Cette longueur de câble sera aussi principal inconvénient si vous voulais vous en servir sur courte distance , avec ses 15M c'est vite gênant et pas pratique dans ce cas là (mais je chipote) . Par contre , on niveau fonctionnement c'est ultra simple , on voit tout avec une qualité d'image excellente et on peut déjà déterminer précisément les soucis , possiblement les choses à changer/réparer et le tarif que cela va couter , c'est bien pour les particuliers mais aussi pour des professionnels ! Un excellent produit qui fait parfaitement son travail avec précision !

What a fantastic bright image….well that was only one of my first reactions to this Endoscope! So simple to operate with all buttons easily accessible and not confusing to operate. Take a picture, press a button, take a video press a button, change the brightness, press a button! I would just caution anyone using this to ensure they are careful when attaching the lengthy camera cable itself to ensure the pins are lined up first and not be ham fisted with that area. It’s obvious how to fit it by just aligning the nodule at the bottom of the the set of pins and push…..gently. If I was looking for something to moan about…and I’m only playing Devil’s advocate then I would say that it’s difficult to align the camera with the rather stiff cable that comes out of the box after being curled up for some time. I’m sure that ingenious ways of stretching the camera cable or attaching it to some splint might help at times unless of course to are navigating your way down some narrow curved pipe. Nevertheless I’m more than happy with this handheld gadget. Again…what a fantastic image and so sharp, and that’s close up as well, definition is tip top. The charger is a small USB-A to USB-C cable where the female port on the item is USB-C so is as up to date as you can get. The charging port and the TF card slot is on the slim side of the hand held item under a rubber cover. You even get a 32 GB card with the item which is a wonderful inclusion. The simple light case provides enough protection with the egg carton shaped foam in the lid, and the foam with inserts for the equipment. In the box is also a small cylindrical transparent plastic container containing a pin for resetting the endoscope to it’s default settings. There are also a couple of other bits which I haven’t quite worked out what they are for yet, but I will after I have read the good instruction booklet that comes with this endoscope. The handheld unit is solid and doesn’t feel cheap, but at the same time is light in weight. For the money this is a great product and I highly recommend it. For the money, it’s all you need. Five stars.

Gut verpackt und unbeschädigt kam das Gerät an. Das Endoskop ist sicher in einem Aufbewahrungskoffer integriert. Ich habe das Gerät entnommen und eingeschaltet. Der Akku hatte vollen Ladezustand, sodass ich gleich loslegen konnte. Die Bedienungsanleitung ist in gutem Deutsch verfasst. Der große Bildschirm ist fantastisch. Bilder werden gestochen scharf dargestellt. Auch Filmen funktioniert tadellos. Die Bilder oder Filme können auf beigefügter Micro-SD-Karte abgespeichert werden. Werden beide Kameras (Front- und Querkamera) eingeschaltet wird das Display halbseitig gesplittet, sodass beides gleichzeitig betrachtet werden kann. Das Kamerakabel ist 5m lang und als biegsame Welle verformbar. Das Verformen bleibt je nach Einstellung erhalten und muss bei Arbeitserledigung händisch zurückgebogen werden. Zur Langlebigkeit kann ich natürlich noch nichts sagen. Insgesamt gesehen macht das Gerät einen sehr soliden Eindruck und ich würde dieses Kameraendoskop jederzeit wieder kaufen.
