High quality plus with sturdy hardware to make the electrical connections. Does not look like those clumsy, bulky replacements you generally see. My application was for a powered awning I needed to remove 15 feet of cord from. The plug would be in plain view under the soffit so I wanted it not to stick out. The small hole the cord enters the plug was just a bit larger. I used the same color of silicone sealer to make it water resistant.

These are difficult to install, but when you do it right they are durable and the cord looks like it came that way from the factory.

These are held together with a thought and a prayer, and has difficult to use little steel screws. Yes, zinc plated steel, not aluminum like some reviews say. They seem to work okay with 16ga or lighter wire, not 14ga like the description promises. You need to have the wires and the wire jacket stripped to the perfect lengths.

Works great. Different installation set up so I had to read instructions. But seems like it will keep the wire connected. I like it.

Excellent product but poor directions. The directions missed a step in installing the replacement plug. Loosen two screws on white brace to insert and secure cord before connecting the three wires to their appropriate screws. Also your picture in the step by step directions page is displayed backwards. it shows the white wire attached to the left of the ground wire. It should be to the right of the ground wire when you hold the plug with the ground wire pointing away from you and on the bottom and with the three wires and screws on top. I assembled it like your picture and my son corrected me. He pointed out the the picture was probably reversed to make the six steps look more uniform instead of accurate--dangerous practice when working with electricity.

This is a quality product that is simple to use. Replaced my block heater plug with this worked very well. I do appreciate the online instructions as well. Got it correct the first time.
