When this arrived, I was overwhelmed with what this portrait means to Christians. The canvas is on a lightweight wood frame. The colors are vivid and dramatic and it is lightweight and easy to hang. The price is reasonable enough for a painting to hang as part of your decor.The lion is not stalking the lamb but protecting it. It can also mean that Jesus came into our world as a lamb and when he returns to earth he will be more powerful that anything.This also reminds me of my favorite childhood books series: The Lion, the Witch, and the Wardrobe. There is a lion in this series of books written by C.S. Lewis where there is a lion named Aslan, who in these allegorical book is representative of Christ, the savior of the world.I'm very glad to have this painting so that I can mediate on it and it's meaning to me.
