Walker Edison Meg Rustic Solid Wood Two Tier Entryway Bench, 58 Inch, Amber

Very easy to assemble, I did it myself, I used an electric screwdriver which was super helpful and I recommend to make it go easier, took about half an hour. I had been looking for a long time for a sturdy, nice looking bench with enough shoe storage for 4 people that wasn’t super expensive. I’m not kidding when I say I’ve been looking for over a year till I came across this one. I could not be more thrilled because it’s solid wood and looks nice in a high traffic area of my house. I will say one side of the bench seat is a little rough, could’ve used more sanding but I put that side toward the wall because no one sits that far back, it’s just a place to perch while you put on your shoes. Once the finish gets a little beaten up I’ll sand that area and retouch the stain but for now it’s fine. Highly recommend if you need a lot of shoe storage!

I will be the first to admit that I absolutely hate assembling furniture. When I looked at all the individual dowels and screws that came with the bench, I thought "I don't wanna do this". To my surprise, the bench went together quite easily.......just follow the "instructions". I am very pleased with this bench. It is quite sturdy, fits perfectly in the space and complements my existing furnishings. I also like the fact that it has a lower shelf for shoes which also somewhat hides my Roomba....and yes, it still finds its way home to recharge! Love this little bench!

I love this bench and appreciate that it is made from solid reclaimed wood. It is very sturdy and goes well with what I have in my upstairs hallway. I am 70 years old and a little over 5 feet tall, 118 pounds and I was able to put this together by myself without too much difficulty. I would suggest wiping down the product with a cloth before assembling it. There was a fair amount of dust especially on the black lower shelf board. Also if you have a stepstool to raise the bench up a bit while putting the screws and bolts in place, this will make it a lot easier. I hope you enjoy your bench as much as I do mine!

Just received this bench and I put it together in about ten minutes by myself. I saw some people say it was a bit more difficult than expected and almost requires two people. It's really not bad, especially if you have power tools. I would probably add about 20-30 minutes if you need to manually screw in with the allen key. This bench is very sturdy and absolutely great for the money. I was definitely surprised and would expect it to cost much more if I saw it somewhere else. This product should easily receive 5 stars, however, I'm giving it four stars due to their lack of quality assurance. There were three screw holes that they forgot to predrill. Not a big deal if you own tools/bits, but this could cause some issues for those that do not. Regardless, I'm very happy with it and it's a great purchase.

We bought this bench for our vacation condo entryway, so people could sit and remove their shoes. The shelf underneath is perfect for shoe storage, and the bench is beautiful and sturdy! My husband put it together, didn't take long and seemed to be easy. The wood is a beautiful color, and we bought a row of hooks that hang above it to make a perfect entry way combo. I debated whether to go with the longer length, but I think the 42 inch is perfect for our condo entry.

this is very sturdy, beautiful coloring and fits exactly where I want it to.. was a little of a pain to put together, but is great and someone with more experience then us would probably be faster

Love the bench. It’s cute and sturdy but it was missing several predrilled holes for the screws to go it and a couple of the holes that were there were slightly misaligned, making it harder to assemble than it should’ve been.

This is a really great bench! It’s so much nicer than I was expecting for the price. It is very sturdy and looks great. It has adjustable plastic feet that protect a wood floor from scratching and keep the bench level on an uneven floor (like we have in our old house). I didn’t see that in the product description when I ordered it but it was huge for us because otherwise the bench would have constantly wobbled in the location we wanted it in. It is more work to put together than you’d expect for a bench - and you really do need 2 people to assemble it - but it’s not difficult. Highly recommended!

I love It!!! It fits perfection on my entry way. It was super easy to put together and even though I got it without the instruction manual the company sent it to my by email less than 24hs after requesting for it.

First-class design, excellent workmanship, I like it very much. It’s just that the last screw couldn’t be screwed to the end during installation. Maybe I didn’t get the balance right when I screwed the screw? everything else is perfect

Very pleased with this bench. Like the distressed look and it arrived two days earlier than stated. Well packaged and no damage as some customers had previously reported.

Order received 9 days later than expected. Wasn't too concerned given the pandemic that things are slower. Box arrived damaged. Removed from box and corner of the top was damaged and not in the box. No hardware included. Reordered another one cause it seems sturdy. Hoping 2nd time's the charm.
