A1 Lawn Landscape Grass Seed, Hard Wearing, Fast Growing, DEFRA Certified

As someone who's always wanted a lush, green lawn but never quite achieved it, I was a little skeptical when I bought a bag of A1 Domestic Lawn Seed. I'd tried other brands before, and while they worked okay, the results were never anything to write home about. This time, I was determined to get it right. The first thing that struck me was how straightforward the instructions were. It’s a good thing, too, because I'm not exactly a master gardener. I prepared the soil as directed, scattering the seed evenly across the bare patches in my yard. The seed itself looked like a nice mix, with a decent variety of grass types. I was also pleased to see that it included some rye grass, which I know is good for quick germination. Within about a week, I started seeing the first tiny green sprouts. I was genuinely surprised by how quickly it took hold. Every day, I'd go out and check on my little lawn-in-the-making, and it just kept getting thicker and greener. The mix of grasses really seems to be working, because it's not all one uniform shade. There's a subtle texture and color variation that gives it a very natural, healthy look. Now, a few months later, I can honestly say I'm thrilled with the results. My lawn is the envy of the neighborhood. It's thick, resilient, and has a lovely, deep green color. It’s also holding up well to foot traffic from my kids and dog, which was a huge concern of mine. I've had to do a bit of weeding, but that's to be expected, and the grass itself is so dense that it seems to be crowding out most of the unwanted stuff. The best part? It's so much more affordable than some of the other premium brands I've seen. For the price, the quality is truly exceptional. I'm already planning to buy another bag in the fall to overseed the rest of my lawn and get it all looking this good. Can't recommend this seed enough. Bought the A1, 10kg bag of seed to fill in a long patch of earth down one side of the garden to match in with our existing lawn,rather than turfing it. And the results have been fantastic. I know the weather & a good water each day have helped. But this has been one of the best seeds I've ever used. Bought grass seed from garden centres etc before & had variable results. The A1 seed has been consistent in growth & has a lovely lush fine blade. Yet I believe it to be hard wearing. Time will tell. But so far,we are super pleased with the results. Would certainly buy again when we turn the opposite side of the garden to lawn later in the year. This is the results in just over 2 weeks. Big bag of very good seeds. Don't mind black.patches I have a female dog so I knew it would happe. It is very durable as I have two kids playing with a dog in the garden and besides pee patches nothing is happening. It grew quite fast (around two weeks to first greening, it is soft to walk on and has a nice colour. I definitely recommend it for garden use for reseeding or patch cover.

Well, I can’t tell you how proud I am of my grass 🤣 I was quite sceptical and after reading every single review, I was not sure it would actually work. I was so wrong! Like others have said, after 10 days after we first sowed the seed, I started to notice a slight green tinge appear, then at the speed of lights it suddenly just grew, and grew and has not stopped. There were a few patches that I had to go over (mainly because of my shoddy hand rotavating skills ) but it soon caught up. We’re just under 4 weeks in now, and so impressed. I decided to then fill the rest of the holes in our lawn and it is looking brilliant. I have recommended to my neighbour as he was so impressed. I think we were lucky with the amount of rain we had so I do think weather played a part. But, I’d definitely recommend!

Firstly let me explain, I paid 15 pounds for 1kg of fast growing grass seed and it’s not been fast at all. Hubby then mentioned we underestimate how much we need. So value for money and the fact that we have completely ripped up old grass and sowing fresh In two large garden found it would be expensive purchasing 1kg at a time so this bag was great value for Money. Oh my god the fast germination from these seeds was amazing with in one week we sore a difference. Plz plz buy

Grass coming on nicely, but so are the weeds that came with the grass seed. Weeds I did not have stated to appear where I showed the grass. Fat hen & groundsell very prominent.

new grass growing very well, unfortunately we are only watering 2 times a day during a very hot July 32 degrees. Lots of new blades of grass after 5 days. Very pleased.
