The product that I received seems was used previously as the packaging was open. Additionally, it is defective as there is a rainbow color in all videos which always appears if I placed it on my dashcam. But it seems it works by reducing the Reflection to some extend.

The ultra slim design fits my Vantrue Nexus 2x seamlessly without causing vignetting. Regarding the one star reviews mentioning image degradation and rainbows, I suspect these issues stem from not removing the protective plastic film on both sides of the filter. It’s easy to miss but crucial for optimal performance. Tip: Before use, carefully peel off the thin plastic film on both sides. Check under good light if unsure, to avoid any image issues. It took a bit of trial and error to get the rotation just right for maximum glare reduction, but once I did, the results were impressive. Overall, this filter is a great value and a must-have accessory for any dash cam user looking to improve their video quality. It won’t eliminate all reflections (e.g., from metal or in poor lighting), which might disappoint those with unrealistic expectations.

I’ve used a Vantrue n4 pro with and without this lense and I have to say it is worth the 20$. It reduces glare by a lot it’s easy to adjust just turn it until you get the best view. It’s a 123 installation process unbox take off stickers and attach to camera. I recommend using the Vantrue app to see the full clarity. Great quality must have for sunsets/ sunrise
