Classy look and is a little toned down color-wise (Rose print version) so I think it will hold up over time, happy with softness and zipper looks and performs solidly. Looks and feels better than standard Amazon (Chinese) quality.

I have a thing about black and white. My whole bedroom is decorated in that color scheme. So, when I went to search for a black and white duvet cover, everything I came up with was either cheap cotton, a cotton microfiber blend, or ALL microfiber. I wanted GOOD cotton.When I found this, I thought it was too good to be true- especially at this price. I was nervous, but ordered it. I do not regret that.So, I am highly texture sensitive. Upon arrival, the top layer, with the stripes, is softer than the underside (like, as others have said, flannel). I think it's (the top) a microfiber blend... I don't sleep with a flat sheet, so I initially thought that would be an issue. But, upon closer inspection, the grey seems to be a good, tight weave. More like a twill- super crisp. I know it will soften up over time. This certainly has, noticeably so. I've washed it maybe 5 times in 2 months, and always used fabric sheets and tennis balls to soften and work the fabric in the dryer. It's still crinkly, but feels softer. And, I will note that I have rejected or returned duvet covers for their texture alone, so my keeping this says something.I also generally overheat easily, though. I am heat intolerant, so although I sleep cold, if I get even a little bit too hot, I barely sleep. This cover hasn't caused any issues with that. We'll have to wait and see for summer- I will update in warmer months.Overall, I'd say this was a good buy. I'm stoked about the new look for my room, and always look forward to cuddling up under this. Also, the pillowcases have crappy fabric on the front, but the other grey on the back. I sleep with the bottoms facing up.I will update and edit this as I gain more experience with it.Edit: I forgot one thing: the corner ties. They suck. They're flimsy, and one ripped off in my hand. My duvet has four corner loops, and four center loops, so I used a seam ripper and removed the original ties, stitched up the ripped seams, and sewed lengths of ribbon on all four corners, and in all four centers. It's a great improvement, and didn't take long.WARM WEATHER UPDATE: since it's hot out and we have the A/C running, it's now 69F in the house, as opposed to 64F that it was when I bought this. I ordered the Pinzon "lightweight" comforter to use in this, and kept waking up in a sweat. I had to return it. I thought maybe the comforter was too warm, but then one night slept under the "all-season" (warmer) variation of the same Pinzon comforter, without the cover, and slept just fine. The only thing I can use in this cover now that it's hot is the IKEA "Sötvedel: cooler," which is super thin and has zero loft. In short, this isn't a good duvet cover for summer. Unfortunately, I have neither the time nor money to spend finding a new one.However, in my quest to find a thin duvet cover, I've discovered that this one feels the best of them all. Still the softest. I'll take that over breathability any day.

The duvet cover is beautiful but not as soft as I would've liked. It's still nice. My daughter loved the flowers and she loves pink. Overall it's wonderful and the zipper is sturdy. Only wished it was a little softer.

First of all, for anyone seeing this, please make sure to read the full description before buying this!This is a duvet cover, not a full comforter. You have to buy the duvet to go inside of it. What you get is a very cute, thin cover with a zipper enclosure to stuff a plain comforter into.I got the pink and purple flower cover, and it's just like the picture with my big comforter inside of it! So cute! It's a little bit flimsy, but it looks like it will wash well.This item deserves better reviews!

Ordered the ‘Sweet’ variation in July, and the ‘Kawaii’ just this week. The Sweet version came with much nicer shams and duvet. The Kawaii came with envelope style shams and the ties inside the duvet ripped off completely with barely any pressure. Both are adorable and very soft! I loved the first one I purchased so much for my oldest that I bought another one for my youngest. Really disappointed the second was not the same quality.
