It does not come with one, but you can buy small drill bits that will fit in the holder and other such bits for it.

Push. This is a push-pull screwdriver.

How, specifically, do I lock for mNual operation?

Center switch between forward and reverse is neither, locks it, holds the gearing still.

We bought one, and can't find a place on it to stow the extra bits like a Yankee Drill has in its base. Is there one on the tool?

Not that I can see....can't find where the bits would be stored on the drill. Good old zip lock and scotch tape keep them together for me.

Very good.

I finally managed to break my old stanley pump screw driver. Electric screw drivers are ok but sometimes you want a little more control and feed back. This seems very well made. It is supplied with most of the bits you will need and a drill bit (about 2mm) - which I have actually used for pilot holes. You must note that if you have a selection of old Yankee bits, that these will not fit, it is a long hex type fitting - these are readily available if you need a bit that is different from what is supplied. The driver shaft is not lubricated when it arrives, apply a few drops of oil to it and pump it a couple of times and the action becomes much smoother.
