This is a well working, attractive, and well designed book light.
I think this is the best book light I've ever had. It's about 3 inches tall, 1 inch wide and fairly flat. It has a large clip that swings in and out to hold the light in the best position. This is a nice performing and attractive design and it works quite well. The top section of the book light, which holds the light bulbs, can be bent inward so you can get just the right angle to read well. There are four brightness levels which are easy to adjust by just clicking the button. The highest brightness levels are completely adequate for me. The ability to adjust the brightness level is a really nice feature as far as I am concerned. You can also change the colors of the bulbs, which is OK, but not particularly important to me. It's easy to charge this book light by just plugging it in to a computer. Finally, I thought the price was reasonable. As you can tell, I think this is a very functional and attractive unit and I am happy to recommend it to other people.

Great reading light
Got this as my husband goes to bed before me and I like to read when I finally go to bed. This light is perfect. The light is bright. There are 3 levels of brightness (or it can be dimmed/brightened by holding down the brightness button till the level of light you want is reached). There are 3 different color settings for the bulbs. The light head swivels, and extends, so you can fine tune where the light hits on what you’re reading. The clip is sturdy. The look is attractive and it doesn’t weigh much at all. There is a sleep timer you can set that winds your light down but I haven’t used it yet. The battery lasts for a long time (but I don’t have it on the brightest setting). I’m pleased with it (and so is my husband)

Perfect light bookmark to use anywhere. Excellent product 😀!!
Perfect bookmark and light. It works perfectly as described by Amazon. The ability to change the brightness and position of the light itself is definitely a plus. Because it's lightweight it's easy to store in a purse or even a pocket. Although it's small, the light is very bright when turned up. It's also a great light to have if you power goes out. It's also very easy to charg 🙂. I'm sure I will be purchasing more of these to give as Christmas or birthday gifts 🎁 😊. Definitely a 5 star product.

Perfect!
I don't leave many reviews but I felt this light was deserving of one. I bought this for my late night reading. My husband and toddler sleep beside me at night while I read and I wanted a light that would be adjustable and work well without disturbing my family beside me. This one works perfectly. It clips to the book (I keep mine clipped on the left side so I don't have to reposition it as I turn the page). It has different buttons that function for multiple light modes, brightness adjustment, timer, and on/off. The bottom opens up with an attached rubber to the cap so that the cap doesn't get lost while charging. I've used it every night for a week so far and it's only charged it once. Best part is the adjustable light. The light doesn't just aim up and down and extend. It also tilts - I wish I had known sooner lol.

Best so far, by far
Way better than anything else I've tried. The good: · Seems sturdy and well-made · Good warranty · Seems to have decent battery · Stays where you put it + stands on its own · Twist adjustment is nice · Good brightness & color temp options · East to adjust, remembers your settings Not so great: · Uneven light across trade paper or hardback · Hard to keep light source out of view To avoid a much dimmer area lower on the pages, you need to have it angled such that the light itself is glaring in your eyes. (This grumble doesn't apply to mass-market sized books.) More directional diffusion to spread light evenly plus a slight hood to mask the light panel itself would make this 5/5. Even so, I've been trying a lot of book lights; this is my favorite. First I've found that's more useful than annoying. Not cute, not weightless, not gonna be mistaken for a cat toy. Clearly some thought went into it. Also a good value as it seems like it'll last a while.

No Batteries Required
The best feature is you don’t need batteries. The light flashes red when it needs a charge. I mostly use it for reading on my old kindle, which doesn’t have a backlight built in. It’s also handy as a flashlight. Great product!

Well Made and Better Than Others
I got this booklight together with the NEWZCLA book light so I could see the differences and pick the one that is best for me. Hands down, this one is so much better and the one to get. When you clip this Glocusent light which only has a small metal clip inside the book so the book can close reasonably well. When you clip the NEWZCLA light into the book, the large battery pack sits 'inside' the book. So if you close the book down (which I do right before I fall asleep), it leaves a very large gap which will damage the spine of the book. Please see the two photos to see the difference. Also, this Glocusent light has a separate color temp button and once you pick the color, it keeps the same color when you turn it back on. That's huge! You can turn on and off the light simply with its separate power button. In contrast, the NEWZCLA light uses a single button to turn on/off the light and to change the color temperature. So you have to keep hitting the button until you get the color you want and then hit the button repeatedly to turn it back off. That's a real pain. The light from the Glocusent light splashes across a wider angle across my book so I do not have to make any adjustments to read both pages. In contrast, the NEWZCLA light really only hits a single side of my book. So I have to move the light around to get to the other page before I turn the page. That's pretty frustrating. The Glocusent light also has a timer function for anyone who falls asleep on their book. It is not important to me, but it is a feature for some and the NEWZCLA light does not have it. All in all, this Glocusent light is the winner. It's a few dollars more, but so worth it.

A sturdy product with several options for the colour and intensity of the lighting. And having a timer is useful if you read in bed and doze off. The one drawback is the weight when reading paperback books, when the weight of the unit pulls the pages down. A book seat gives support but I have found that, sometimes, holding the lights in my hand is the only solution.
