With my family coming from other countries, this works great for all their charging needs. That being said this device is a fairly decent size so it will take up a good amount of space in your bag. It has six different plugs and they are all universal plugs. So if you happen to have a huge power brick you want to plug into this, I would recommend getting this as there is plenty space to be plugging those in. Make sure you keep track that this is a plug adapter NOT a voltage adapter. The plug slots will fit American (110v) plugs, but do not step the voltage down. If you are not paying attention, you can fry some electrical devices. The plastic of this adapter feels very brittle and cheap, but so far it has held up fine. The power indicator is very dim. This is a good thing for me. I don't like powerstrips that light up the entire room. But you have to get a good angle to tell if it is on or off. The on/off button is recessed a bit and feel fragile when I press it. It hasn't broken, but I don't trust it to hold up. The USB ports are well placed, easy to find, and all work.
