This is a cologne, but I bought this for myself, it is a lovely manly scent that dries down to Cedar and lasts several hours. My husband does a lot of woodworking. Sometimes I joke and call him Norm (Abram, from This Old House) and he is entranced by me smelling like cedar! If you are with someone that enjoys woodworking, or trying to attract someone like that or a cowboy, this is the magic potion for you! Do not walk around, smelling like flowers, or fruit, smell, like wood! I feel like mother, nature! This was shipped to me in a cardboard box that has stabilizers in it to keep the bottle from rattling around. Amazon sent it padded and a large box and it arrived in one piece. Many earlier review show a glass bottle coming in a bag placed inside a wooden box, and I can see where that would break during shipping. This new packaging is much better and my bottle a ride in one piece with no damage.

I've been shopping around for a new cologne that didn't smell like spice, laundry, flowers, or any variety of "sport" scent. Some of the reviews here stated that the cologne leaked into their package, or that the atomizer nozzle was poor quality. I didn't have any issue with my order. I appreciated the small wooden box that it came in, and the actual bottle was packed with a shrink wrapped plastic seal around the nozzle and well as a plastic collar between the base of the nozzle and the head to keep the bottom from leaking/spraying from within the box while in transit. The velocity and force of the spray was surprising. Again, the reviews here lead me to believe the nozzle would be a pain point. The cologne comes out as a fine mist and hits the skin exactly how I would want it to. I don't have to walk into it to allow the cologne to land on my skin, nor does it leave a pool of liquid on me. The smell itself reminds me of the smell of fresh cut lumber or a wooden chest which is exactly what I wanted. Will definitely be buying this again.

The cedar is very prominent. The Bourbon is absent and the longevity/scent lasts about 3-4 hours

first time i got this was at bristol farms el segundo... got it home and realized the bottle was missing an ounce or so, the package was damp on the inside. the plastic on the spray top was still on btw... so never used, but about an ounce missing. i returned, got another bottle. took it home............ same thing inside... from a sealed box and sprayer then i ordered it on amazon........................ SAME LEAKY BOTTLE... missing product, etc. so something is wrong with their bottle for sure. i love the smell but if it gets knocked over, it would drip on the furniture. i've never experienced this in well over (WAY TO MANY TO ADMIT TO) fragrance purchases. so please fix your bottle so i can buy it again OLIVINA

Unfortunately not a fan of the scent (works well as a shaving cream but not as concentrated cologne). My wife described it as “walking into grandpa’s basement”, so take that as you will. A strong cedar scent, smells more like it should be used lightly as a room scent but felt weird to wear as a cologne. Only tried it out once but unfortunately Amazon doesn’t allow returns on flammable items so I’m stuck with a full bottle I won’t use. I like this brand’s other products and the packaging and value was nice enough. Other than that I regret the purchase.

2.7 oz is a pretty small bottle for the money, so expect that. The real issue here isn't the price or the bottle size though, it's the scent itself. I smell almost no bourbon at all. I'm an avid bourbon drinker and that a bourbon scent would be really nice, but really all I'm smelling is strong cedarwood. It's very woodsy, like fresh cut cedar wood, and a lot of pine needle, which is overpowering. I really don't smell any discernable bourbon whatsoever. With that said it's not a bad musky/earthy scent, but there are plenty of perfumes/colognes that are way cheaper that smell better (like Alpine).
