I work from home, and sometimes I work from my couch. I use this very often, whether I have the laptop on my lap or on a table. The pillow cushion is very comfortable, and I don't feel the heat from the laptop on my legs. It's also portable. I hold holistic health sessions at a studio nearby and easily pack this item with my laptop in a tote bag. I got this in blue, and I love the color, and it also looks professional. I have a 15in laptop, and it does take up most of the lap desk, so I don't use the pocket for the phone as much. I can adjust my setup, though, if I move my laptop over to the left. Overall, it's a great product and I recommend it if you work from your laptop often.

Perfect size LAP DESK and seems like very well made.

This Gorilla Grip lap desk is the solution to my iPad & Magic Keyboard problems! I often use my iPad when I’m on the couch and the new M5 iPad Pro (13” to help show scale compared to lap desk) with the Magic Keyboard tends to be a little top heavy and falls over backwards. I needed a little something to boost my iPad up and help elevate the iPad/keyboard slightly. In the second photo you can see how the lap desk angles forward just slightly. This lap desk isn’t that soft beaded material on the bottom, rather it’s made with a firmer memory foam type product so it helps keep the laptop desk stable and allows it to retain its shape. Plus, there is a place to put your iPhone (upright or on its side….I have an iPhone 16 pro max that fits perfectly, but anything longer might not fit into the crevice. The only “con” I’d say about this product is that there is a hard plastic piece that helps keep your computer/ipad from sliding off. While it is a benefit to have that hard plastic piece to help hold it in place, it took a long while for my wrists to get used to it because it does sit up so high. I’m not sure about how well it would allow heat to escape on a computer as it would sit totally flat on the lap desk.

I got this for keyboard and mouse. Too bad it hold only keyboard. Standard corsair keyboard. No space for mouse so will need to find something that has space for both. Gripping good. Pen holder is present but not really useful better placement not on top. I like using a mouse with keyboard. Comfy for lap just not big enough. American laps are very large

The cell phone slot is useless, laptop covers it. The "wood" top is just a thin layer of material, corners were wrinkled. Not the quality was expecting. My laptop is 14" X 9"
